*Stock. *AW, BW, LW, MW and HW. *Best 3 out of 5 rounds using all 5 entries (1 bot per round starting with AW and HW going last).
*Every weight class on your team must use a different BASIC robot type from this list (no flail SnS and normal SnS on the same team):
I will be entering with this team:
(Image removed from quote.)
Yep, you have to build 1 of each weight class listed and each bot needs to have a different type of weapon from the ones listed in the OP.

Sage didn't win thanks to low walls and hazards IIRC :P
1WD wouldn't be a problem if AI'd robots just let them sit there and get countered out instead of always charging at them.

Lol at car steering on the BW. Kamikaze box would be better if you managed to stack the anchors back to back and have the iron more centred. I think Jonzu added the rule because: lol someone should enter a Nasty Pickle bot.

It's my understanding that axles make stuff spin faster when attached so I made this: I plan on making a series of improvements on it.

I put the first 4 candidates for CombatAnts3 in 4 matches in hope that 1 would win twice...

Not sure, I'm using this: list.append(("AW hammer","ElectricHammer",{'invertible':True,'nose':math.pi*2,'radius':1,'topspeed':100,'throttle':100,'turn':100,'turnspeed':2.5,'MotorID':2,'NoChassisTime':2,'StartAngle':math.pi,'SwingTime':5,'weapons':(0,)})) For this: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/5099Bot2.rar

Wait, what's the point of these if you win all of them?? Why are you even running the contest?
Don't blame me for winning, blame the voters and I may not enter the next one depending on how many entries I get. I'm running contests for AW's, BW's and either CW's or SHW's so that we can add more bots to Re-stocked. That AW chassis looks much better than the 3 in the BotExchange.
If it's not a template chassis it should be used on some of my later AW uploads on the botexchange.

Due to me winning the first few of these I may not enter this one unless I only get 1 entry.

The weapon seems to get stuck under the bot so I'm not even sure if it's firing. I'm sure it has something to do with the start angle.

AW - Tumbleweed, your new Re-stocked AW opponent! The flailing weapon likes to act like a hammer and hit the top of other bots:

Looking for help AI'ing Clickbeetle's AW Hammer (ElectricHammer.py) in Ultimate Stock AW AI.
Currently I think the main problem is 'StartAngle':math.pi, because this bot uses a front caster and tips over at the start of the match I have no idea what to use as the starting angle for the weapon. Also while I'm here do ElectricHammer.py bots use a button to fire or analog?

This week's contest requires your robot to have a martial arts-style weapon, this does NOT mean you need to use the sword or ninja star. If you are looking for idea's check here: http://www.intermartialarts.com/article/ninja-weapons-and-tools-comprehensive-listRules: *Upload a splash using the GTM image host and PM me the link. *Stock parts only! *AI parts are allowed, Excluding the 140cm square extender. *cheatbot2 is not allowed. *Custom parts ARE NOT allowed. *Realistic rule DOES NOT APPLY. *Normal building with normal glitches allowed (no AAM, BFE, Uberstack or hax mode). *Show the weight in your splash. *You MUST include a shot of the insides. *You should name your entry something that suits the team it belongs to. *Entries must be reasonable splash size (nothing too big). *One entry per member. The winner will be decided by a vote just like BOTM and the winner is to send me the bot so it can be added to the pack. Countdown: Entries closed!. Entries so far: 2.

Pistons and drums seem to be the least used so I voted for them.

Cool splash, I'm guessing 2 pinks and DSA?

#1 is unique, fast and should be pretty powerful. The decision to not use an extender to give it longer reach in exchange for a chance that it would get hit and knock the weapon off with it could be a wise one. It's main weakness is chassis size and the fact the chassis is plastic, will it spin fast enough to keep other bots away from it's fragile chassis?
#2 Can outweapon all AW's to my knowledge and has decent protection due to weapon setup however if the top iron gets knocked off the Y extender holding the other 2 is pretty exposed and the bot is going to get slowed down quickly as the match goes on due to only 1 battery which will hinder the damage it can do.
#3 is sort of unique, the protective razor should keep bots at bay and provide extra damage while the flail weapon hits the front and top of bots. If the razor gets knocked off early the whole front of the bot is exposed for rammers to hit (unless the flailing razors protect it which isn't likely) and it's slow but that shouldn't hurt too much because the main weapon isn't the ramming weapon.
#4 is probably the best all round bot here with DSA, 2 pinks and 2 irons to deal damage and protect most the front of the bot. I question the weapon placement though, is it too low to the ground? plus the Y extender could get knocked off with a lucky blow.

Still only the 2 teams so far with 11 and a half days to go. The sooner I can start AI'ing the bots the better, so I don't just have 1 giant work load when the signups close.
Time expired!
