I especially like panic's spinner variant. Very nice builds indeed.

It's the same disc from the original BB series, been used all this time. They knew there was a small crack in it after the Minotaur fight and were aware of the metal fatigue so pretty much knew it was a matter of time!

I can't believe that it was the same one all those years! They've certainly done an excellent job of polishing that bad boy before pictures because it always looked brand new. Those tormach machines will really be tested if they make another disc before the next fight.

I'm not sure why I like wasting my time with this stuff.
because now we know not to stack 30+ razors or else crazy stuff happens. The giant circle of death made by it looks really cool tho.

Very nice build. If those extenders aren't steel though the whole thing might be ripped apart if hit from the sides or from underneath.

Robots Showcase / 8bean builds bots IRL

Hello everyone! 4 of my friends and I got together and decided to build two bots. We had limited resources and time so neither of them came out as expected.

The first bot is Sean.

Sean is a beetleweight wedge powered by 4 22:1 silversparks by a 3c 12v lipo. It was originally supposed to have a servo lifter but due to weight constraints it had to be removed.

This caused Sean to have a lot of excess space and be way too large.

The second bot we made is named Vaughn.

Vaughn is a mantisweight thwackbot that was made at the last second with spare RC parts. Rushing this bot out was a poor decision on our part because at the event we had a full electronics malfunction and had to forfeit it from the tournament.

Sean fought in three matches. This first match was against a plastic coffee cup and would determine our standing in the tournament based off of the damage we had done to it. Needless to say our wedge could do very little against it so it basically became a game of ram the cup as many times as possible.

Unfortunately, after this match we discovered that both of our back motors had become disconnected from the gearboxes. We spent an hour and a half troubleshooting these motors but couldn't get them to reconnect correctly to the gearbox.
The second match it fought in was against a very small overhead bar spinner named WISPTEC. Prior to this battle, WISPTEC had shredded its weapon bar mount when fighting the cup. Since the bar couldn't be repaired in time, a wooden ruler became its primary weapon for this match.

Our third and final match was against the feared Rapid Unscheduled Dissasembly. Lets just say that we came out of this match much better than expected.

Since Vaughn forfeit its match, the very generous host of this tournament provided us with an RC car toy named Sacraficial Lamb. It fought valiantly against the destructive American Banshee.

This event was a great experience and was very fun to participate in. We are certain that we will come back next year with something much more planned out and will hopefully take home a trophy.

The main issue I see with this is that it will be purely based upon how many weapons each bot bey has. Idk how you'll moderate the designs.

Series 3 isn't the only time razer nipped sir killalot. I'm pretty sure this is the one you remember at 39:55 because I remembered seeing it too.

Is this a BGOBB 2?
No because it's HW lol
Its a nice bot and i like the splash but I would change the wheels to something that don't leave a small gap in the armour
Unfortunately any wheels smaller than the tazbot wheels are too small and wouldn't allow it to drive.
Looks rad man, personally I'd change the plow to titanium and change the disk to a more solid one. At HW it might get wrecked pretty quickly
The disc is the reinforced one that still has the slots. It just looks like the weakest version because of cropping out the bluescreen from the transparent parts

Thank you all for your feedback! It is much appreciated.

The recent massacre of Purple Nurple in GTMCS inspired me to make an even bigger and badder version. Purple Nurple V4 was designed more as a PP3D style undercutter and sports a disc rather than the bar setup that has been commonplace among the previous versions. This decision was made due to the rather ineffective-ness of bars in RA2 at such an extreme length. Also, a durable steel front plow ensures that other spinners will have a hard time grabbing onto the front end.

How bout an arena that specializes in 3 robot battles.
A triangle shaped arena would be really cool for this although now that I think of it trapping in a corner might be an issue
