See? Top-down views confuse a lot of people. :P

If the black can't fit, redesign the chassis.

Ummm... top-down views rarely help here. Try a view that shows all of its components and makes it look good at the same time. :P

As for your bot however, you can easily use baseplate anchors instead of servos and a black instead of 2 nifties. That way you can get more weapons for your bot.

I was attempting to build a better version of Predator using Tankcat's chains. I was halfway there but the game crashed. I have to axle load everything again... D:

And my game crashed again.

Please Die can be included in Velocity and maybe Necro Cube in IYF?

And maybe you could just make 'em like RAW bots - just use Clash Cubes bots as the name and make multiple teams of the same name. :P

Oh, and don't forget to include the bindings. :D

Serge and I tried a 'restraint solver' type chain.  But it glitched a lot.
But yea, RS, as simple as that is, no one that I know of has tried this yet.
I've some hope that it will.

How about a variant of Serge's ball-and-socket joint?

Just wait for the AI pack to be released and you'll have your chance. :P

Oh, and maybe you can make the CC1 pack now, JB. :D

Secret weapon, eh? Interesting. >:)

W-w-w-wait. CFTW has DSA, yet COID's spikes could only give it paper cuts? o_O

This should make razer proud.

LRA2's Rammstein should defeat CFTW, though. :P

Still can't believe CFTW pinned COID. o_O

Anyway, COPYPASTA TAYM!!!

PREDICTIONS!

Dark Matter - Pwnator
- VSes are the easiest bots for me to build in DSL, next to popups. I hope I get to piss off as many bots as I can with this one.

Trap Master & Decoy - Doomkiller
- Both are very solid bots, but with the abundance of shell in this tourney, I doubt they will go far. DK claims that there he has a secret weapon, though. We'll find out soon. :D

Please Die - Flying_Chao
- If there weren't any obstacles, this might have easily punted bots OOTA within 10 seconds. This can somewhat be compared to Stratocaster. Some drive power can be exchanged for more weapons instead.

Super SnS - Somebody
- Ah, the unpittable monstrosity. I couldn't see any bot that can surely give it an OOTA, let's hope the arena flippers can do their job. :P

Total Controversy - RedlineM203
- Hmmm... a very powerful flipper. I couldn't really say much here. I expect the wedges to be very good.

Shinigami - Craaig
- Sweet design, but wouldn't have much luck here due to the massive shell here.

Xenophobik Resurrektion - Condor33
- Destroyer DB on steroids. If it has enough time to fully spin those weapons, it can do some serious damage within the first 30 seconds. Once it goes to close combat though, the motors might not be powerful enough to fling the opponents off.

Hypercube 2 - Russian Roulette
- Weapon overload. I like it. If some bots are fast enough to reach its chassis before it spins up though, it might get gut-ripped mercilessly.

Cube of Pure Evil - SomeStrangeGuy
- Smoker gone wild. I <3 the design, but with the weak disks, I'm not sure if it will do well or not.

Grindhouse - MikeNCR
- MikeNCR builds extremely cool bots without sacrificing the weapons' effectiveness, and this is no exception. Excellently built, but I hope those weapons are strong enough to last against the shell.

Mad Box's True Form - Trumpetguy
- *trying not to be harsh* Well, I really appreciate the effort of making a hybrid, but sacrificing chassis protection for more weapons and motors doesn't mean it'll be better.

Lament Configuration - Jack Daniels
- One of the coolest looking bots in the tournament. However, if I were him I would've sacrificed some middle spikes and use Mag wedges instead.

Head Chef - Scrap Daddy
- Grey Matter can defeat two Steel Meatballs because it was able to rush to the yummy chassis before they fully spin up. But the obstacles can give it 2-3 seconds of additional time to spin up, the opponent must be low and fast enough if it wants to KO it (ahem, Naryar, ahem).

Hellish Charm - Urjak
- Hmmm... I think R0B0's wrong on this one. This is a SnS, not a SS. If it spins almost as fast as Destiny, it might win most of its matches through points.

Exponential Decaay - H@ZM47
- Head Chef's doppelganger. It should spin faster than Head Chef though, so it might fare better.

Sky High - R1885
- I doubt it's spinup time is quick enough to give those fast bots a hard initial hit. It will have a better chance against the slower bots, though. But with these heavily weaponed bots here, it might gyro dance its way OOTA once it loses a hammer.

Timber - Clickbeetle
- If its wedge is good enough, it can be a major PitA for the weaker shell here. I will clone its hammer setup one day for sure. :P

Faaip de Oiad - R0B0SH4RK
- R0B0 listens to too much Tool. :icon_tongue:  Anyway, this is the only bot in the tourney which shows that quality > quantity. 8 razors ain't much, but this bot is very heavily armored. If R0B0's smart zone is spot on, it will reach a top 3 finish.

GTFO Me - LiNcK
- As others say, this is essentially a bigger Daisy Might. We all know N12s look awesome, but Vlads could've been used and the drive might be too weak to counter the initial disk spin.

Blade Wave - Naryar
- I think Naryar is already 4 to R0B0's 1. And if this one has better wedges, it might extend its win streak again. Moreover, this one's low and fast enough to reach most of the bots' undersides. Expect a spot on the podium for this one.

Scramjet - Reier
- I can be considered as Faaip de Oiad's polar opposite. 10 FRICKIN' HAMMER 4s! This bot runs on OxiClean and all the parts are glued it using Might Putty. Billy Mays' soul is inside this bot. I can FEEL it.

Bob & Bill - Man Manu
- I don't care if they suck at combat. This pair wins the 'cutest bots' award. Period. *squee*

Destiny - System32
- I'm pretty sure it can be done with Technos and a longer weapon reach. But I'm not the SnS expert here, so I couldn't say much here.

Mammoth - Sage
- I don't think it can do well against shell, but it will surely be heck for the others to beat this beast.

So here's my top 5:
1. Naryar
2. R0B0SH4RK
3. Somebody
4. Urjak
5. H@zm47

Hmmm... try this. Use the spike strip's other attachement point and stick it directly to the wedge instead and attach the plastic extender to the middle of the bar instead. See if it can self-right better.

Again, my angled VS was specialized to take out shell spinners and some SnS. But I think my chances of beating those are quite low here, even though I beat 2 Steel Meatballs with it.

COPE's scary, but if I face him I might have a slightly better chance of winning. Both HCs and Exponential Decay however, will most likely beat me.

And yes H@z, Bob N' Bill = <3 <3 <3. XD

Though not really that efficient, birds are still faster than RADs and popups like to be fast.
