It's (almost) as tight as it could get. The bars shouldn't scrape the tires and the CB.

Is it just me or are the perms uneven?

At least the bot's creative. :D

o_O

Weird...

Oh, and use astros and ants (or wide ants, if possible) instead of copals and minis. :D

Nice. Attach the metal hinge at the lowest AP of the shell instead.

You know, you gotta stop being arrogant. Tons of pokers here are better than yours, so you have to build until you're at their level.

And duh, a HW that loses to a LW and a MW would be a fail. We would prefer the opposite. :P

Not much empty space?!?!?! You probably wasted more than 100kg with that setup. As stated, clone a poker first (Lethal Force or Stratocaster) and you can make your own setup once it's well-built. Check out Hydro's showcase. He has already made a good poker. Clone his and see what happens.

General Support / smaller grid?

The grid doesn't snap to the inner boxes, but they still help a lot.

Ditch the rear weapons and add a front stabilizer. I cloned Blue Moon before and it needs a sturdy front to fare well against fast bots.

Use Vlads or Hypnos, and find better bots to fight. Saberteeth sucks.

Downgrade the side stabilizers to tite and see if you can fit a rear stabilizer there.

And actually, I could see more Stratosphere than Mako on it. :D

I better catch up with you. You're getting too good. D:

I haven't built a rupter yet and eFFe is an advanced glitch? o_O

But good point, I did use advanced snapper loading on most bots. XD

But yeah, if the community can't use that glitch then I consider it unfair.

Not enough motivation to finish my Homage bot, so I'll just whip up a cheap SnS later. XD

It's a BW. Wide ants are fine. Try to experiment with the parts. Since it's just an SnS, play around with DSL discs or hex plates and the like. You'll eventually find a better setup. :D

You'll see. And the rules will prevent entrants from using uber-HSes and possibly crawlers. ;)

THAT CHAINSAW DOES NOT LOOK PHALLIC AT ALL...

I would've inserted Tool's pic here, but that's too offensive.

Looks more of a vestigial tail to me. Besides, I don't know which side is facing front. :P

SD's right. I just did some snapper loading for that. But I also dunno why my extender for the 2nd snapper was able to pass through the 1st one. Must be the same reason why blacks can be cross-stacked.

@ R0B0 - Sorry. Deleted it. I don't want to possess bots that take advantage of advanced glitches (I had a ZeroG bot once, but that happened a long time ago). :D

@ Pys - It's okay. I'll just wait for the BBEANS pack to come out instead. XD

Analyze the innards and base a new bot out of it.

Darn. I was gonna host a BTEST-meets-BBEANS-meets-CC tournament this December. D:

Oh well, more rules to tweak. XD

I used BFE for the first Crankshaft only for the CB. I enlarged the chassis a bit just to be able to stack the CB in for the second version (took me more than half a day to do that).

If I can recall it correctly, here's what I did:

2x snapper II, 4x extender, 6x HPZs and rubbers, 2x extenders, axes, 2x extenders, axes, 2x extenders, more axes, then the 2 batts + CB. Then I used a 25cm caster and to my shock, I was able to put it at a high level. I just took advantage of this and completed the whole thing.

Sadly, I wasn't able to reproduce the outcome on the same bot that I finalized. If most people weren't able to replicate that said situation, I do not consider that bot as legit, so I'm scrapping it. Besides, I have a better setup in mind already. :P

However, please acknowledge the fact that I didn't use BFE for the final showcased bot. Note that the top casters were one notch away from the top (they were red at its peak). I could never BFE components at the exact height since I only use integers. I've always wanted to become a special part of the community, and not to be known as a cheater. This must be one of those circumstances that Venko was able to make a legit uber-stacked bot while others weren't able to replicate it. Which is why I had to painfully stack 3 blacks on Supernova and resumbitted a legit Jupiter rebuild when SSG noticed the special control board attachment point. :D

Sorry if I sounded too defensive, I'm kinda down lately (one of my favorite teachers just died and I really miss her right now).

Back to the positive side, I wanna ask something: Are Bounty Hunter's wedges pressed against the ground or do they only scrape the floor? I've always wanted to clone it (for the Homage series) but my wedges are either too low or too high. D:

Interesting idea using the hex plate to attach the weapons. I don't think I've seen that before.

I got that idea from Mako 4. :D
