Meh. I was unhappy about Immu 2 anyway, it just lacks something. To the bin with that, the original was awesome in my opinion anyway XD

Been busy the last few days, and made this before I saw Click's post. Thanks for the advice anyway (:
Annoyingly, the hammers clip an ant batt, but I don't see that as a problem when theres popups around. (Standing by opinion that popups aren't realistic.) Chassis is obv. 3 ants and a 4kg CB New bottage. Made from same chassis as the above. Same weapon motor too, I believe. And a new prototype. The chassis is large on the original. Thought I'd cut it down and see what happened. Thoughts? 6204

Never heard of such a rule. Will do something about that, and I have a few ideas :)

A small concept-bomb here. Although some are just improvements or edits.
HeartAttack - Tried making an undercutting HS, and to make it as flush as possible, put the motors on limited axles. Doesnt seem great at dealing damage... any help? Next, Expose. Guess why it's called that. Is it any good? My first attempt at a dual LW VS. Now Beaver. Like Fever, but smaller. Seems about as good as Fuel, which is really something considering that thing had a cheaty motor. Finally Blood Orange 2 - need definate help here. Gets beaten by the original, but the layout on this is better (I think). I think it's due to the lack of back support, it flips back quite easily, and the skirts are weaker than on the originals. Any advice? 6206

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Naryar's Custom Showcase« on: September 16, 2010, 11:14:49 AM »
Ah, yeah, I know what you mean. I reckon just that would work. DSL wasn't designed for unrealism, just as Backlash wasn't designed for any of these bot types. A similar basis could be used, but of course, like in DSL, only the legal bots would be tourney-legal. Dunno what JB thinks of this, but I think it would work.
EDIT: Oh, sweet! There's a JoeMobile! Sounds awesome. *smug grin at those uninvited* ;D 6210
Custom Components Showcase / Re: Naryar's Custom Showcase« on: September 16, 2010, 11:10:48 AM »Like realistic and unrealistic DSL. But then comes the whole where-does-half-the-'realistic'-designs-fit-in argument. Don't know what I mean? Popups. Enough said. 6211
Custom Components Showcase / Re: Naryar's Custom Showcase« on: September 16, 2010, 11:01:09 AM »I don't give a damn about your restrictions :P I agree. Maybe it's possible to let people build whatever they want in Backlash, yet limit things in tournaments? I mean, I totally don't agree with people varying (although it's a cool looking juggler Nary, don't get me wrong) but people will do it. So there has to be some other way of doing things. In fact, there could be legal Backlash showcases and illegal Backlash showcases, if you get my driffft. 6212

My favourite band is Muse. I saw them at Wembley Stadium a few hours ago. It was the best gig of my life.

With that arena, whoever starts on the left will automatically lose XD I reckon you should lose the flipper and put a pit at either end :P

No, that sounds like the way you would do it. If you were to do it and it were to work. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but the components of the stock bots you're battling may not be in the DSL mod.

But less memorable. 6220

It'll more than likely be the AI. Did you change the entire AI folder (including bindings, teams.txt etc)?
Or, it might be the components in the stock AI bots. But definately something AI-related. |
