Here's my first AW, Jackhammer. 1mm steel, and you can see the rest. I would've used 1mm plastic and a 25kg hammer, but I couldn't shave off 1.8kg from the chassis without making the attachments unrealistic. And most of you must've already seen Grey Matter (either from CC or NAR AI, they're the same). But after seeing how hard NAR AI is, I decided to improve my old team as well. So here's Grey Matter 2: 3mm plastic, NPCFs, everything else is visible. I kinda liked Dark Matter's style, so I mixed it with Grey Matter's power and I came up with that. What annoys me though, is that it occassionally gyro dances when it steers too fast and it also bounces from time to time during the start of the match. I might use Hypnos instead and widen its stance for the next revision. :D

Yep. Too bad I couldn't stack horizontal snappers no matter how hard I try (it could've been less Havok-y with that setup, I guess). :O

I couldn't make it better without making it look more of Heaven's Sawmill than ItI, but here it is: And it's still wedgy enough to beat NWB more than NWB beats it. And here's my first crack at RDT3: Took me about a total of 3 days to get that CB in. And since the tourney is mostly for looks, I just quickly whipped this one up. I could also classify this as a Homage bot, as this was inspired by High Tolerance and Hexavert. Too bad the wedge is only average and it also Havoks a lot. But because I haven't finalized my submission for KoK, I might simply tweak the bot and whip up a n00by splash for RDT3. XD

Oops. I meant snapper load. Sorry. XD

That's because Snapper IIs aren't meant to be placed outside the chassis. Put them inside, attach extenders to it, and eFFe your motors in. Then you can place your wedge snappers inside. :D

Always show the insides. They help us a lot when commenting on your bots. :D
Anyway, it's underpowered, as 1 black can only power 4 HPZs for the full 3 minutes. You'll need another black to make it perform better. Also, the middle HPZ and the snappers are very exposed. It's best to have them inside the chassis instead. Or, if you want a more powerful version, use the Snapper II (from the Combo AI & SZ in the Downloads section). It's very useful due to its lightness and its additional attachment point. :D

I used axle wedges on LOLMako. But sweet bot nonetheless. Would it fare better if the axles are rotated outwards? :D

Not really. See Hard Hat and Toxin Ant. :P
Anyway, try using a smaller chassis with slims instead of astros. You could make all the weapon heads face in a single direction instead since that would make it more efficient. :D

Anything from Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, Aqua, and High School Musical. But if there is ONE SPECIFIC song that really ticks me off, it has to be 'My Heart Will Go On'.
[Edit]: Good one, H@z. Added. XD

Here's a simple suggestion:
Try rebuilding the chassis, but instead of making an upside down 'U', make it a 'T' instead, as the chassis weight is calculated using surface area, not volume. On the lower end of the 'T', place your Perms side to side, but rotate the axles outward so the weapons won't intersect (you might also need to increase its motor length to attain its desired reach). And just place your drive and batts at the rear. As for the wedges, you could use a single skirt and attach large angled sheets to it. :D

Umm.. I don't think there will be enough people interested enough to debate for this. Maybe a debate on the extent of the AAM use would work.

Awesomeness. What else will be modded? :D
And I see Eurodance at the taskbar. XD

I think the flipper wedges are kinda too wide for a LW (I haven't seen much LWs that wide, sans HSes). And good job on protecting most of the front while using that chassis wedge, but I still fear that HSes can quickly remove the snappers if the popup doesn't get under them quickly.

You can still make the chassis a bit thinner since anchors can be stacked. I like the FS (which reminded me that I need to rebuild my LW juggler).
I couldn't say much about the HS, but good luck trying to attach birds there. :D

Hey, hey, hey. Hold on, there! People make mistakes all the time! You started one of the most unique tournaments this year, and we definitely don't want it to go unfinished. Which is why we're in a community - we help each other when one is having trouble. Just post the bot and its bindings and we'll try to see what's wrong with it.
If you think most people don't care, you're definitely wrong. People submitting entries is already a sign of showing support. People commenting on your bots (which are awesome, BTW) also mean they care.
"And why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up". Yep, I just quoted Batman's father. But this is very true. If you can't solve the problem yourself, just tell it to us and most of us will be more than happy to help you. :D

Hopefully you like that I am continuing to update and improve... Like??? WE LOVE IT!!! :D I also ripped off Fury's chassis and replicated your design (though I realized just now that you used the extra weight for casters). It's scary. :O

If it's for a good cause, it's fine.
And get well soon too, Ian. :D

Someone likes panic skirts (I do, too). And I'm still wondering why you didn't submit a team to Nary.

Skirt hinges and snapper wedges need to be set slightly into the ground to add pressure to the motor. Be careful however, as too much or too little pressure can ruin the otherwise good wedge. If you're absolutely lazy, metal hinges usually pwn. XD
