Hoppin, I made a mistake there. I didn't think about that there are barely any other robotic communities out there talking about Robot Wars and such... I mean if you exclude Facebook.

Those look amazing
Why thank you CodeSilver! Like I said they are finally done. I might as well do some fine tweaking on them later down the road :)

Meanwhile, here's Sir Killalot, warming up... I guess XD

Thanks for letting me know! Cheers cjbruce :)

To the developer: I've got a quick question. Is it possible to import 3D models into Robot Rumble 2.0?

They're done. Been wanting finish them since 2010. Then the original one's was in my mind. Now, ten years later the new one's are finally done. No textures (I'm not really a texturer, but rather a modeler).

Shame on myself. I should've known that behemoth (no pun intended) Facebook is where the majority of social media lies. And the Fighting Robot Association is not really for robot "gamers", but rather real roboteers.

So, I'm not going anywhere.

I am not going to write a long book about my reasons to leave, but I'm moving on.

Those few people who wants to see any progress on my modeling (if anyone at all) is welcome to look me up on either Discord, or Skype.

Right now I'm on the hunt for a boxed Wheely Big Cheese. Not an easy find%u2026

EDIT (07/03/2020): I finally got hold of a opened Wheely Big Cheese box. Hard to find sealed, but this one was as close as I could get. I resealed it with some transparent tape, and it is of course in mint condition.

If anybody could figure out a way to get the song from this video, now that would be nice.

I now know how to at least duplicate weapons, making Gravedigger's 2-tonne hydraulic ram from the "Lifting Arm"! Adjusting the position of the arm wasn't too hard :)

The arena is tense, the timer is set, and the competitor is ready!

Liquid Nitrogen Gun? I played a sh**ton of ED and a fair amount of AoD and I've never heard of this weapon
Nor have I! :D I think it's the same as the tazer though... not sure.

I've actually found out that some weapons cut from Arenas of Destruction made it into Extreme Destruction. By renaming the .wpn and .rwm files accordingly, I found the tazer and liquid nitrogen gun. I made also made sure to modify the weapons and robots lists to temporarily remove robots with projectile weapons, as those weren't allowed on the real show.

I have been kind of quiet lately (humble guy), but at last I made up my mind to come up with something I haven't been thinking of before.

The official Robot Wars music, if excluded, what music do you think the house robots listens to?

I really have no idea, except that Shunt surely listens to Rammstein (maybe Sonne, while breaking up stone, industrial metal) as he's an industrial robot.

I was thinking of coming up with a great looking picture of each of the house robots, with a band's logo and a nice looking background related to them, but I am not that great in Gimp, and don't know Photoshop at all.

Oh well... What do the rest of you think?

EDIT: I found Paint 3D to be extremely helpful in visualising my idea.

New Year, New Decade, New UPDATE! Crushowrecks is now sporting a third weapon! A 45 cm saw blade, capable of slicing through anything! Tucked in right beneath his sadistic grin

EDIT: Also, at his front, an arrow-shaped plough, to guide competitors up right into the saw blade and spikes!

Or use discord
Nah. I tend to stay away from chats, forum's more of what I'm used to. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.
