I'll make sure to counter that. How many of each bot type are there so far? Would like to make something a bit different.
So weapon distribution right now as some people have asked: 14 flippers, 47 spinners, 6 axes, 2 rammers/pushers and 2 clamps. If you do enter, thanks for keeping this in mind Mouldy!

1. Well it's not bad by any means! 2. Don't see what it has to do with the theme but it's not that bad regardless. 3. Well this is pretty cool...I think I know who built it. 4. Hey Steve. I know who built this...and speaking of which... 4. Honestly, everything present on this splash makes me wanting to tear it to pieces. The splash looks like someone first time in Photoshop and that person accept everything on the first attempt without feedback. A poorly made bot with a questionable skin and easier to see flaws that can be pointed out: lack of effectively, placed weaponry, overly large chassis and being incredibly underweight for both a crusierweight and a heavyweight; and a lack of effort in fitting the bot to the theme.This does sound a little too hard, but I expect a lot more for bot of the month entries than this.
I think you've been a little too hard here. For all you know, this could be a joke entry or someone's first bot or whatever...then you're here ripping them to bits for it. Granted it doesn't fit the theme but you don't see me ragging onto them like a bulldog. 5. Utterly adorable! It's so cute!

I was thinking of making a 4 bar lifter (like Storm 2 or Biohazard), by using a Storm Burst and a VDMA. Would that be allowed? as it would technically be mixing and matching
I thought I'd better ask before I started building
I'd say use a larger VDMA for the bottom one and a smaller VDMA for the top one, asked Roboteer about it and he did that for one bot and used 2 Wide Medium VDMAs for another! Hope this helps! IT'S SHOWTIME FOLKS! Entries for Orc's Wars qualifiers are now open! You can submit a maximum of 3 robots each for this week up until Sunday, 11pm UK time! I will post updates with entries I have received! Just remember, SEEDED BOTS DON'T COUNT AS ONE OF YOUR 3 ENTRIES SO YOU CAN SEND THOSE TOO (if this counts to you of course!) Just a reminder about rules: 1. DSL-IRL ruleset - Robots must look as close to real-life designs as possible/insides must NOT be clipping through each other nonsensically.
2. Heavyweight limit of 800kg.
3. No Mechavore/Minion/Microvore/Mini Minion discs.
4. No EternalFlame.py or logic.
5. No more than 1 Beta Burst/Motor, 2 VDMA R/P Bursts/VDMA Front Hinged/Storm Burst on your robot (depending on which one you choose, don’t mix and match).
6. No servos. If you can AI it yourself then feel free to send me the servo bot.
7. No excessive extender spamming/stacking (Extenderbots are allowed of course but if you use extenders to armour your bot….no, just use the armour panels!)
8. All Cheatbot2 parts EXCEPT Flat Motors and the Overkill motor are banned.
9. No weapon spam (like 8 spinning discs etc).
10. No Steel 10 armour.
11. No meltybrain or clusterbots.
12. Swiss Army Bots are limited to three different weapon systems. The main chassis of the robot (armor, drive system, etc.) should not change between configurations.
13. RA2CF and DSC IRL packs are allowed and are encouraged for this tournament, along with skinned components. Good luck!

HYPE! After doing poorly with money bags I hope I'm more successful here. Also are we going to get any side events because I think having cruiser, middle or super heavy weight competition would be sweet
Like last time, there will be a Lightweight, Middleweight and Super Heavyweight competition. And I believe there will be a Challenge Belt, Tag Team Terror and a World Champion. But Orc can correct me if Im incorrect
Plans atm involve LWs, MWs, SHWs, Challenge Belt, Tag Team Terror, World Championships and a Sumo event!

Well first of all: Congrats to MrBK and his robot Slash for winning the New Blood tournament: enjoy your 24th seed! Now onto the BIG news: Orc's Wars Series 2 robot submissions will begin on Monday the 29th of January 2018! For the first week (29th January 2018-4th February 2018), I will be accepting a MAXIMUM of 3 robots per person. Do not ask about following weeks as future entries depend on how many I get in the first week. I will be accepting a total of 96 entries for the qualifiers (not counting seeded bots if you have any already). FORMAT FOR OW2: There will be 12 heats, all based around the RW10 pattern
2 Threeways, 1 robots wins
Redemption Round - 2 robots go out
Semi-Finals (this bit is important) - 2 robots advance to the final, 2 robots go OUT
Final - 1 robot advances to the Semi-Finals, 1 robot gets into a wildcard heat
Right so that'll be 12 semi-finalists in OW2...however, there will be 2 Wildcard heats that function as a mix of RW8/9...
2 threeway melees with 2 bots going through
4 way round robin, with the 2 bots with the highest points going through, giving us 8 robots per semi-final
Semi-Finals:
4 head-to heads, 1 robot advancing from each
2 head-to-heads, 1 robot advancing to the Grand Final
Grand Final:
2 head-to-heads
1 Playoff

There were some nasty bots this heat! I'm kinda glad I didn't enter seeing some of these 
Some scary bots in this Heat that is for sure! Also good news...The Grand Final is coming...NOW. Thyrus, Tashic, Mystic, Hoppin, Roboteer, Arcane, MrBK and Badnik...one of these bot builders will get the 24th seed but who will it be? Hope you enjoy!

Very happy with Angstrom's performance there although its self righting issues in the first fight may not bode well for later fights.
Indeed, quite ominous...we'll have to see how it does! I've really enjoyed these series, wish I could've joined. Maybe next time
Orc's Wars Series 2 will start sometime after the New Blood series is finished...which will be by this weekend I reckon (one more heat and the Grand Final)...so keep your eyes peeled! Glad to hear you are enjoying the series too!
