@ GK - Well, Shock is a strange bot. Rebuilds of it should also be strange. :P

ONE MORE!

Of all the LWs in II AI, Shock's design has always been my favorite, even if it just sucks. I tried rebuilding it, and here's what I came up with:

With a smaller chassis and most of the anchor stacked into the nifty, I made a setup that lowers the disc so it's more stable. And with the long extender setup sticking out, it can now self-right instead of spinning like a top. As long as the chain it spinning fast enough, it WILL self-right. I've had some troubles against wedges that sometimes stop the chain when it's self-righting, though. XD

Kill's loaded rupter failed, but I really like its concept. So I fiddled around with one of my old popups and came up with this:

Sadly, this is also a fail. Yes, it can rupt consistently. But the problem is that I couldn't get the razors to hit the opponent's chassis everytime it fires. The only way to make it deal some damage is for it to fire prematurely and let the bot go airborne with the razors orbiting it while letting the opponent come closer. When the opponent comes close enough, the flying razors might luckily hit the chassis. Wedges are great, too bad they're useless on a bot like this. :(

hmm dont really need to its really good

Not good enough. Space management is prioritized in the LW class. Minimizing chassis size and space will maximize free weight, which can be spent on better weapons. Ounce's SnS is an excellent example of such SnSes.

Your best choice would be a small custom motor with infinite HP and can be easily hit. It will start to smoke when it gets hit enough. There's most likely a smoke TGA which you can edit and turn it into fire. >:)

ok but the motors work better on the outside and save weight

Nope. It actually saves weight (12kg lighter, to be exact). Just use the NPCF right or left. You can have the bulk of the motor sticking out of the chassis.

It can beat Grog? I wanna see a battleshot. :P

Anyway, from here I can already see that you're using a custom CPU. Just use the blue one. Also, use multi-extenders instead of anchors since it's lighter and smaller and both have the same HP (infinite). And you can also attach the NPCFs directly onto the baseplate. Saves weight and makes the motors invulnerable. And DON'T stack batts in DSL. DSL aims to make bots that are more realistic. Besides, you only need two for it to spin fast. Then with the remaining weight, attach a sledgehammer/DSL hammer on each end of the bot so you can actually deal some high damage.

[Edit] Forgot about the wheels. Vlads would do fine. Hypnos would be even better if you could shrink your chassis enough. And that means you need to have a chassis less than half of your current size. Upgrade the armor with your free weight. :P

Hmm... funny. I just realized that using a nifty saves more chassis weight than two pinks on occasions. o_o

Anyway, here's my team for II AI: Project Mayhem

Top Row (L to R): Sabot, Sonic Boom 2, Starburst III
Bottom Row (L to R): Seppuku 3, Helix 2, Dandelion

Sabot - Recently showcased. 7 maces, 2 razors and an ice pick, two pinks, RAD drive, DSA. A threat against HSes and can KO a lot of wedges as well.

Sonic Boom 2 - Using a nifty actually saves weight on this one. 10 irons, HPZ drive, DSA. Much more destructive than before, and for some reason it can trap some wedges in the rack. Side irons help a lot against SnSes, too.

Starburst III - I tried scaling my Jupiter rebuild down to a MW without making it look too much like Click's Chain Reaction. Not that good, but can still give most gut-rippers a hard time. 6 static razors and 4 flailing razors, a single nifty, Snapper2-bursted 4WD HPZs, DSA. Worst bot in the team, but it'll definitely hurt when you let it touch your chassis.

Seppuku 3 - Showcased before. 6 razors, DDT wedge, a single black and plastic. A quick killer, of course. And as always, it hates unstable HSes.

Helix 2 - Recently showcased. Probably my wedgiest HW, 8 razors, 8 irons, 4WD HPZ drive, 8 casters and DDT wedges. Deadly. 'Nuff said.

Dandelion - Showcased before. 6 static irons and 16 flailing irons, 6WD HPZ drive, a single black and DSA. Shallow wedges can still avoid its weapons, but it has a habit of dealing 1-2HKOs when it touches any part of the chassis.

:D

At that scale, everything looks boxy. Build bots on a larger scale so you can emphasize its motors, armor and such.

Hehehe. I made that bot in 6 minutes. But I'll fix it when I can. Right now I'm building a MW that's gonna replace Quasar 4. Probably gonna use flails. XD

Yep. If you look closely it's also using Antimatter's chassis *hint hint*. XD
