Caspian Cobra is even more screwed than before. Not that I was expecting too much from it anyways  Babaulti might do ok though. You’re running this tournament really well, Orc! Can’t imagine how annoyed you must have been about Tuna.
Honestly would have been a lot worse if I found out halfway through the tourney...I'd have been very annoyed then!

You've done such a professional job running this and it is really a joy to watch. Controversies happen and probably always will, so it's good to see that you handled it as smooth as possible. :)
Thank you: after a hectic day of dealing with this and the aftermatch, I needed to hear this! Absolutely delighted to be put into the Heat with the lowest seeds and the giant Tentomushi robot. Not looking forward to the two flippers, but here's hoping that Lobstertastic can pull off at least one win.
You're also up against the winner of the New Blood...undefeated so far...maybe a lobster will pinch it's undefeated streak away?

Absolutely delighted to be put into the Heat with the lowest seeds and the giant Tentomushi robot. Not looking forward to the two flippers, but here's hoping that Lobstertastic can pull off at least one win.

Hey all, so we had a situation where the retaining champion of OW had used stacked teeth on their robot. I had already begun filming so of course this threw a spanner in the works. After thinking for a while, I came to the conclusion that The Tinned Tuna would have it's stacked teeth stripped to make it fairer to the other oppenents as well as losing it's title...on top of that, another competitor pulled out as when they found out about Tuna, they agreed it wasn't fair to do that and admitted they had done the same thing. So all the seeds went up a place, resulting in MrBK's Slap Shot V2.5 becoming the new champion and a new 23rd seed being crowned: Flying Wings by TGM. So with a robot being pulled out: we had a spare qualifying place. I wanted to give this to a builder who hadn't qualified with a new machine, resulting in a 3 way melee of my own picks of robots that stood out to me: Urchin by MrBK, Wraith by Badnik and Mandela by JDG. Urchin won and has now got the final qualified place. Of course due to all of this and to keep it fair, I re-randomised the match-ups...there are below...sorry about this situation! I'm glad I picked up on it now instead of halfway through the series. Heat A:

Personally Im more a fan of the yellow, but this is still great.
Seconded about the yellow. It not having your usual charcoal and red scheme is throwing me off, but I really liked the yellow
Thirded (is that even a word) about the yellow...now it just reminds me of a Horizontal Splicer...it's cool but plain.

That's one mean-ass brawling lobster if I ever did see one. I was super scared of Wraith and Chicken Nugget, so I'm glad they took each other out. Also, a moment of silence for Dingle Dangle, thank you.
I'm a fan of lobsterbots...I hope Lobstertastic carries on with a good run! Dingle Dangle was very unique, I'm sorry to see it go!

Checking out the site, the filming dates are pencilled in for March 24-April 9 2018, shooting in Los Angeles, CA.
That's not a lot of time for a new team to build a Heavyweight robot for the event, but it's possible for a few teams to build a robot within the strict time limit before the event if they really work straight on it, seeing that this happen with the reboot of Robot Wars. But it's nice to hear the news for the fans of the show to rejoice after over a year and a half waiting.
If you read Phillipa's other post you'd know that they already told several teams months ago and hence they've already started work on upgrading/building new bots.
I was thinking the exact same thing, several teams have been teasing this for a while now!

Match 5: Not sure what to say about this fight. Caspian Cobra was just kind of there for the whole fight. I thought for sure it was going to get punted OOTA by Ryu in the opening seconds, but Punterator saved it. Other than hitting Cane Corso's rear a bit near the end, it wasn't the most involved. Thank goodness for the pit. Match 6: Babaulti and Black Sun had a pretty good scuffle in the beginning. Glad to see that Babaulti's gut ripping seems to work alright. Horizontal spinners usually wreck Babaulti, but the pit is my best friend now. Match 8:  . Dunno why NTB didn't drive. It was working fine before I sent it, but I think the worthy bots went through. Out of all my robots, I thought NTB was the only one with a chance to get through, lol. Great episode, Orc! The production value is incredible!
Can definitely agree about Caspian Cobra, hopefully it does more in the main series! Babaulti has a sweet design, reminds me of a slug! I couldn't get NTB to work no matter what I did, I'm not sure if the wheel protectors were hindering it in any way but I tried to get it to work! Sorry about that! I'm happy to hear you like the production value, this is done a lot simpler compared to the main series which should look a lot better! Thank you!

WE HAVE OUR LAST ROBOT: We have all the spaces filled: thank you for entering everyone! I know a few people have been asking if they can swap one robot out for another to which I say: YAY SIRS/MADAMS YOU MAY! Each person can swap out ONE robot for another as of this point up until the 4th of February 2018, 11pm UK TIME! I will say one rule: for the most part...NO SPINNERS! We have enough of the buggers...I may make exceptions depending on situations (for example New Blood entries returning like Wraith) I think that is all...pick wisely my friends!
