I've been trying to get Robot Arena 2 (DSL version 2.2) to work on my PC. However, it always crashes when I try to get it to work. It usually crashes between the first and second splash screen, with it crashing once between the second and third splash screen and once mid-game. The link to the picture can be found here:

I tried using two different programs, but with the same results each time: the first time I used WinRAR, of which it ran perfectly a few times before it said it was "missing a file and may not work properly". It didn't specify which file was missing. The second time, I used 7Zip. This time, however, it only worked once before crashing. I have been given a few remedies that I have yet to try, such as changing the screen from fullscreen to partial screen, which I can try once I get on my laptop at home. The other one was to reboot my laptop back to its Windows XP settings, but I bought my laptop recently, and the farthest back it can go is Windows 10, which is what I have. I'll have to try the one remedy once I get home, but I'm posting this in case it doesn't work. What should I do? >_<
Also, I had a few questions in regard to the game itself. First, how do I add my own custom textures and materials to use on my robots and as my logo? Second, Is there a way I can save the pictures I use for the robot I've built onto a storage file so I could use them in other programs like GIMP or Photoshop? Finally, is there a way to build a translational drift or autonomous robot?
I know that the two of these posts are very different from one another, but I would like to have help! And and all help is greatly appreciated!
Hey. What steps do you go through when doing a fresh install, and what download are you using? Screenshots please.

If it breaks the rules, it needs to gtfo. No question. Rules are there to be followed, his robot doesn't follow the rules, hence it should be disqualified. Doesn't matter if it's during the tournament or after, cheaters and rule breakers should be disqualified.

After Action Report: MW: **** YEAH RAUS
I can beat radar as long as I can turn to face him and have his disc knocked away WITHOUT dying, but it'll be tough. Father of Whyachi may be strong but I've got a chance if I can stop his weapon, cut him up and punt him slightly and then see if I can cut him up from behind.
HW: The Industrialist WILL die. It's large and a bit unwieldy but the SAFC Box Rush should work again here.

Very Late Battle Report:
MW: Avalanche needs some side armor
HW: I got enough top armor. Next I am against another hammer. Let's yolo this.
It's more that I chose the wrong armor for Raus Mk.1 as. I actually reused a chassis of mine from DSL 2.1 which meant I still had giant batteries in there, which took up lots of weight. Raus Mk. II rectified these issues somewhat, but it still struggles against HS.

sorry no. thin extender would snap right off if it was rammed from the side, let alone hit by a HS. Pull it in closer, see if you can go double axle, then turn it sideways. Maybe add some diagonal supports too. In theory this gives it a unique feel instead of just feeling like a mechavore VS on a chassis deisgn not built to be a VS. In practice: i've no bloody clue. try it pls, or could you give me the bot file so I could try?

Should be a good fight.
We saw what happened in the Raus v Dominotrix fight: I was punted around without being able to get under and cut up the opponent. I reckon it's going to happen again, but Raus Mk. I has much weaker armour than his successor, so I expect to lose in quick fashion.

Those flails are too much weight for small and inefficient wedges. Go to a metal or skirtnhinge to hold on an armor plate with a wedge edge then add a battery.

After Action Report:
The wrong opponent for Raus. I wanted to see how the change in drive motors would effect Raus, as it turns out: It's even slower, so Dominotrix had ****-all to worry about, and Domino picked the longest reaching blades to punt me about the arena with, though even if he'd used the other weapons he'd still have won. Also, the E-wedge getting torn off immediately was pretty funny but also a bad sign for the rumble.
I'll wait till the rumble to pass judgement on Raus Mk. II's overall performance.
