if you put HPzs on there youre gonna just bounce around. The razor rack is cool but honestly the only way to make it effective is stupidly wide wedges and a trapping design. See- final destination

I've fond my ability to creatively plan robots in advance has strangely made me quite good at programming.

looks cool. clean build.

I'd think that if there was any drive here you'd just drop the name "robot arena" and make your own game. I mean comon, unity (for example) has a straight up tutorial on how to setup a physics sandbox. Heck they even released the source code for space engineers which gets you construction, multiplayer, and physics, all you need is to tweak the physics for your purposes. Its a lot of talk.
This is actually a fair point.

ya that looks a lot like something pyscolone would build... with the lawnmower blades protecting the rubbers. very cool

How much weight would you have leftover if you just built a generic 36HS off of that setup?
I'm not even sure if you could make a 36 HS off the setup because of the weight of the snappers.
edit: if my math is correct 360 (weapons) + 78 (snappers) + 180(hpz) + 56(tribars) + 24 (if you just use one extender for 3 weapons) + 60 (batts) + 4 (cb) + 24 (wheels) = 786 kg leaves 14kg for chassis so i doubt it
Yeah I could do it with 4 snappers and using 2 extenders to mount the drive.

God dammit. Now I'm outclassed even in the HS department.
IDK what you are talking about I mean a 36 HS should have no problem with it.
Yea spike strips on axles are really bad. I was thinking about replacing the top spike strip with an iron and then replacing all the razors with irons, but I didn't want to cop out of the "use the weapons from the old one" scheme. Can't believe badnik just gets to build a straight 36HS lmao EDIT: Nvm, it sucks too much not to use the irons. New version: Still blows but maybe I won't lose to middleweights. NOW WITH PATENTED EXTENDER ARMOR

what happened to the movepixel dl link
i needed to stack 3 blacks :<
only casuals use movepixel. I consider it cheating now (which i know goes against what I said years ago). Wait, 3 snapper stack is legit? Wow I can make some crazy stuff now. You got a link for how to do it?
Yeah. I saw Mr. AS video here: And then I was like hmmm I wonder if this works for snappers... So after a lot of testing I was able to do it and stack 3 of them. I learned all the tricks to this glitch too, and it's much simpler than all the random stuff Mr. AS does in the video lol. Just takes practice. If people use this more lets keep using the ASAS name.

BTTB entry. What I had to work with: What I made: spike strips on axles look gross so i had to make the rest of the bot look sexy. terribly tedious to build. Had to use ASAS (MR. AS Advanced Stacking) probably 200 times trying to stack those snappers (3 on each side). Then once i put one HPZ on there was no room for the control board so I had to individually use the original axle load glitch (using axle mounts on the chassis) for each motor to trigger the snapper load and move them out of the way. 2 Blacks, DSA, 795.7.

I love the tediousness. So frustrating, yet so rewarding once you finally get it work. Thats why I stopped playing after Hax mode. It took away the challenge and tediousness.
I wrote this the other night but never bothered posting.
The puzzle of getting an intricate and original bot put together with all the glitches and limited components is what makes stock fun for me. Even then your bot might not even work and you need to figure out the new setup.Once you get the glitches down its easy. I usually never think anything is tedious except rebuilding chassis a million times.
But you also just suck at stacking blacks
Yea i'm actually terrible at it. my BTTB bot has a harder stack though and it's very frustrating
