Age Of Empires 2
Was officially the best RTS before Starcraft 2; smooth play, actually educational, and a whole host of cheats. Naturally the buildings are completely disproportionate to the people, and generally it has a smooth and relevant style and some very good campaigns.
I HAVE THIS. We used to play this a LOT back in Higher Computing. When the teacher took sick leave, that was basically one month straight of Age Of Empires 2. Naturally I sucked.
Blue machine gun armed Shelby Cobras are your friend.
