Thinking about it, would I be able to use the Rupt glitch on AcroBOTics?

Updates:

  • I am downloading SCv4 Alpha 2
  • I will either build a HW Popup or MW HS next
  • I have built a crappy MW Hammber. Should I bother posting it?

Shouldn't it be GTMRC, not GTMWRC? Since it's a championship for GTMers, not for the world. ;)

I really want Scramble for the GBA. (Ideally for the Vectrex, but I don't have a Vectrex.)

I wouldn't say easily, I lost my 1st match to Mutiny and quite a few to Intruder Alert. And I still cant beat Praetorian.

As I am in Spain with a laptop that only has RA2 and Audiosurf installed, I have an abunadnce of time for RA2. After I finish this bot, will probably do a MW HS or IRL bot.

Moving on.

Yay for more generic, crappy bots!

AcroBOTics.

Good:
Very Wedgey. Only out-wedged by Mutiny 2 (Out of the MW bots I've tested in starcore v3.)
Often does multiple frontflips after a hit, which looks nice
Pretty airtight
Stacked blacks (Took me ages, my RA2 hates stacking.)
DSA
Wedge doubles as very reliable srimech.

Bad:
Acrobatics after hit (Lands upside down half the time)
Only 6 razors
Extenders often get hit. (Only really get damaged enough to break in career tournaments.)
Terrible paintjob
Atrocious pun.

Largest hit so far: 1.7k

Who should I test against in SCv3?

It's good, but I'd get the colours right before sending it off.

hey scourge can you kill GF for me ? Pretty please with sugar on top ?
The great Naryar reduced to begging? How uncharacteristic    :approve:
I am not begging, you fool. I am asking nicely.

Besides, I have other ways to ask things than "THE MIGHTY NARYAR ASKS OF YOU THIS AND THAT. COMPLY OR BE SMITTEN !". Yes really. It disturbs your limited vision of me of a comedic, hammy villain, I am quite sure, nevertheless is is the truth.

Silly englishman. Always bending the truth.
1.    Smitten - infatuated, charmed, captivated, beguiled, bewitched, bowled over (informal), enamoured, swept off your feet

"They were totally smitten with each other."

Wuv. Even Nayar can do it

Indeed they do. I fixed.

My home is pretty nice now, if a little small and unorganised.

So, what mods do you guys use? For me:

Timber
TooManyItems (For deleting cobblestone)
More Ores
Obsidian Tools
Spawner GUI
Little Blocks Mod

I would use some shaders as well, but they need Optifine, which conflicts with Modloader, which is needed for Timber. And I need my Timber mod.

Also, new book crafting recipe (In snapshot and will be in 1.3) is BS, but villager trading and Jungle Temples look epic.

Please don't use servos for drive, you'll be literally driven around in circles by faster bots.
A pair of tiny escs from finger tech only weigh 4.5 grams each, and a pair of gold sparks(also from finger tech) weigh 28 grams each.
That adds to about 65 grams. If that's too heavy for you, this gear motor would work fine: http://www.robotcombat.com/products/0-GM11A.html
The fingertech motors are far from ideal for a UK ant. They are too big and too heavy to be practical to use, and would force either extra gearing for 4WD or staggered wheels. They are also only available from the US. Ordering components from outside Europe is not preferable when you're only building an ant, especially since he doesn't want to compete with it competitively.

Anyway, I agree with haz on regards with the weapon servo, either that or the HPXF for an ant (I personally prefer the HPXF, but both work well). It you do want to use servo drive, which is wise if you don't want to use it competitively, I would recommend the SG90 servos from GiantCod (http://www.giantshark.co.uk/towerpro-sg90-micro-servo-p-268.html). I have not used them, but according to all accounts, they are easy to speed hack and, though can wear out, are not expensive to replace.
Thanks for the great info, yet again. And what luck! I already have one, I was going to use it for my weapon servo.

Now all I need is to find a battery + charger (6v NiMh if possible.)

I disagree, I think that Spy requires the most skill to do well. I love playing spy, but I'm terrible at it. It's pretty difficult when you're effectively going melee only, and you can only melee from behind. Think about it.

Good God, the cheapness of Spies. Health full, my back wasn't even turned, he still one-shotted me anyway.

If I were calling the shots, I'd have the Spy removed from the game.
You're just mad. If they were out, Sentry Nests would be twice as difficult to overcome.

Besides, you play mainly as pyro, right? W + M1 everywhere and everything.
I was playing as Medic there, actually.

And besides- I don't care, I'd rather have them than bloody cheap Spies. Or at the very least, I'd give them a massive nerf. Cut their health, and prevent them from killing in one hit with a backstab.
You'd regret it. =P

Besides, they already have low health. You're just mad ATM, you'll see sense later. If you're anything like me, anything that kills you is overpowered, and everyone who kills you uses cheap tactics.  ;)

I have an enchanting room full of bookshelves (Apart from 2 missing for the door), as you do to get a lvl 50 enchantment, but I can't get anything over 14! How can I fix this?
