Download a component called an antiballast.
You attach it to your bot and it takes away a lot of weight, 400 IIRC.
Oh, and don't forget to remove the componet after you've finished your bot or the bot will havok all over the place!

I was trying to do get a righter bar but it didn't connect. Which is annoying  .
But I wanna ask two things.
HTF do you make MCB wedges (I know they suck but I think they're kinda cool)
What is the best wedge option? I mean I imagine at least 75 people have asked that and got no real answer but, hey, why not try?
I've seen on here somewhere a table comparing STOCK wedge options and (unsurprisingly) the wedge component won. For DSL i think everyone will tell you either a skirt, or a sheet on a metal hinge.

I had to redesign the chasis to fit in the npc's but i got them in  I was able to upgrade to titanium 3 armour aswell which is a nice added bonus.

That does look very cool, was it in your showcase, i swear i didn't steal the idea  Anyway, i've decided to just keep the one front wedge and get rid of the outside razors/extender (mainly to avoid having to get too complex with the wedges)  Now, I have the urge to make another robot....

It appears that you still have stock components in your game, which means you didn't install the DSL patch correctly. Use the one in Sage's signature.
I think there's a better way to attach the plows, like using a single extender or 2 flipper segments. I know it's a clamp, but I can't see from here how the weapon works; all I can tell from here is that the razors are attached to the Mags.
Don't the stock components apear when you use cheatbot2?

have you seen Rex's controller for Cassius ? it made it a bit of a handful to drive and fire weapons.. really they should have had 2 different controllers like most teams do... or a separate button for the flipper.
I don't know about the other teams, but he was probably limited by the technology at the time. It's weird how from series 2 to season 3 the robots got infinitely more complex. I think the same thing would have happened in season 8 if they hadn't stopped robot wars.

Razer = Erm i really liked razer, but i thought that nobody in the world didn't like razer untill this thread.
it actually is very controversial... I personally love Razer, the first ever Robot Wars match I ever saw was Razer vs Techno-Lease
Well after the hour long conversation with about 20 people i had a few weeks back at school no-one said they didn't like razer. They all seemed to love razer and hypno-disk for destruction and P.A for being the coolest and were kind of indiferent to chaos 2 and tornado.

I would recommend using a metal hinge, because it creates a much better wedge than a skirt hinge. With the weight used by the metal hinge, you should just put one long wedge in the center.
I have used a metal hinge. And i'll put a 8cm titanium skirt in the middle if that's what you mean by the one long wedge.
