Heh, not bad for a first bot Still... 1.try keeping DSL realistic 2.You can get better drive and shrink the chassis a bit 3.You can also get better wheels, generally we use technos, hypnos, vlads and ant wheels, perhaps others aswell 4.I think you can switch the disk to the 100cm for more AP thus more weapons if weight permits 5.Don't use aluminium or steel apart from certain exeptions 6.Look at other people's showcases, mainly people with coloured names, for ideas and tips 7.I see you're doing it already but make sure to build to the weight limit as high as you can, e.g. you can put a bit more weaponry on there or upgrade the armour a bit
Updated it, Now it has Pigletts for Drive and Weapon and Vlad wheels. Still a little too lazy to update the rest though. But still, It goes faster and is possibly even lighter. (Image removed from quote.)
Oooh Narys not gonna be happy... DON'T USE PIGLETS FOR DRIVE Use NPC's instead Put the CB flat so it doesn't hit the weapons And NEVER LISTEN TO SPARKEY(AKA sypher)

About the last rule: you haven't even been here for a year. :P
Thus the exceptions part, but i'm not entering. I suck at reps.
That last rule is stupid Unless you allow me to enter
Thus the exceptions part, but i'm kinda cautious about you...

Give a Japenese man a fish, he will eat for a day.
Give said Japenese man a fishing net, he may find his children.
*Don't take this offensively, it is a JOKE*
That reminds me... A man just broke up with his Japanese girlfriend. 'Don't worry' she said, 'There are plenty of other fish in the sea'

Funny that, the halfsheet with the weapon on is attached to the end of the steel extender. Moving the halfsheet to the bar the motors are attached to will make it too short to get a good hit. I guess i could extend the bars but i would have to lose a lot of weight and weaponry soo... It's fine as it is and it has enought armour already and i think putting bars on would use more weight but i can go experiment with it.

Alright i've made a few changes It now beats all of Nar AI HW pop-ups most-of-the-time Gotten rid of the dsl bars and anything else i didn't need and upgraded the hammers, moved the beaters at the front a bit and got more external armour. Next thing is to raise the top half-sheets so the pop-ups attack that instead of the chassis... Pics aswell: ^^underneath Top:

Its good to use those batteries The rule goes that we use 1 ant battery for 1 spinning motor For the burst motors we use the big black batteries usually Either get them to weigh 5000 Kg or 1200Kg Have a look at the wiki for loads of tips on bot building Try using the wheels we mentioned for the bot to be faster Usually the metal door hinge make better wedges so try using them, for lighter robots you can also use the skirt hinge for weapon attachers

OOKAY i'm sure there's more things but... 1.try not to use ant blades, 'specially on HW (or whatever they are) 2.bit of overkill there with the weapons 3.check out other people's showcases to get ideas and learn 4.i would imagine you would need a bit more power there, not sure how many ants you have 5.Most people use techno destructo wheels or hypno wheels, perhaps you could get away with vlads on lighter robots, or if you just need the weight badly 6.usually people concentrate on the front of their bots for weapons 7.show weight and armour next time, perhaps some battleshots aswell 8.try using the AP's of the normal extenders instead of the t-connectors 9.people dont really use those weapons, see other peoples showcases to find out more about what to use Welcome
