You're limited for a reason...
Nonetheless, feels like you've actually made some progress in terms of your building. The MW flipper looks mostly solid though it may run out of batts in a fight that goes the full 3 mins.
Your VS is decent but TBH I think the old HS version is superior. The motor you're using for the VS is super underpowered. Try to get a perm 132 in there, or use a flatmotor if you're not opposed to using cheatbot parts

I like how the drive motors on Legacy are just straight going through the batteries haha
Also shoutouts to T_R for only giving his bot 90 second's worth of battery power so we didn't have to sit through a full 3 minutes of it not being able to flip anything. Really thinking of the viewer 😂
The not flipping anything is on the part of the crash patch. Flips just fine without it

My bot from the same challenge. Not a 100% accurate rep as the rules of the challenge did give some leeway, and there was also a 1 hour building limit. Pretty proud I managed to crank this out in that hour as my previous attempts to build extenderbots under time pressure didn't go well. If I wanted to make this rep 100% accurate I could just swap the eyes and mouth made of extenders for ones skinned onto the panels, revise the front setup a bit and I'd be golden.

The arena to be used is still up in the air. One idea I had was to use a different arena for each meta to help certain bot types in stock and If.
The GTMCS2 arena seemed to work pretty well for IRL and Stock. In an arena that was harder to get OOTAs in verts would probably have dominated even more than they ended up doing in the IRL division. Stock seemed to work okay too. Maybe an arena with something in the centre a la the BBEANS arena would have prevented the boxrush install KOs that we saw, but then that would take away the viability of a but like Fractures, which was pretty neat to watch wrecking HSes and Popups last time. IF is the only real place I can see needing a substantial change of arena. Flippers are already strong as hell in IF and in arena with walls as low as the GTMCS2 arena had one was always gonna win.

Thoughts and opinions: 1. I'm finding it strange why there needs to be additional set of 2 irons on the top, when there's a least two large sets for the main weaponry. It could be for controlling other bots if they drive on, but if that's the case, then why need a DDT? Also, the set-up could of been better by using razors tips for the main weapon over iron spikes despite what Redalert thinks. 2. That's a pretty impressive freak bot, viscous and looks effective. It appears that RedAce has won my vote yet again.
Do you know just how many weapons this "thing" breaks? Many of their popups lose their weapons whenever this bot whacks them. This bot has also been known to break HS as well. On exposed designs, Irons are best.
How it beat Seism13 and Bounty hunter- WHACK! Seism loses one of its razors. WHACK! Bounty Hunter loses a few razors. WHACK! Seism just lost its remaining razors, and its chassis is totaled. WHACK! Bounty Hunter has lost a wedge. WHACK! Seism 13 smashed to its fate. WHACK! Bounty Hunter destroyed.
I dunno much about how strong the bot is but if your going to counter someones point you should probably make it more structured and instead give further insight.
Besides, just because you [Redalert] manged to destroy some AI, BBEANS opponents by controlling your bot, doesn't mean that the same will happen if the bot was being controlled by the AI, thus leads to a chance of disproving some of the claims you've made.
I know.
Back on topic.
You need to stop

I'm down for another GTMCS. Personally I'd prefer just straight up the same straight double elim format as the last one but executed in a more timely manner. To me a heat/group format just doesn't seem right for an "official" tourney.
Gotta have all 3 of the main metas represented in my mind too, since this is meant to represent all of GTM.
Don't agree with allowing multiple entries either. 1 or maybe 2 in each meta seems about right to me. Force people to narrow down to their best rather than reentering the same old sh** we've seen 45 times before in other tournies.

New flipper, and a rebuild of an older spinner from last year. I think I'm getting far too into polycarb shells.

The flipper is sweet. Only minor niggles with it are that I think it would look a bit better if the side panels were Alu instead of polycarb, and if the tip of the flipper were slightly less wide to reduce the 'overhang' over the sides of the wedge. The HS is neat too, although I feel it would look a fair bit better with some kind of custom bar made out of extenders or something. The regular ol' DSL bars don't really do the chassis justice

My focus for the past like year and a half has always been on interesting chassis shapes as opposed to tacking stuff onto my bots for the sake of being interesting. That leads some people to find my build style a little boring, which is fine by me. Not everyone has to like it. I'm relatively happy with my build style though and I don't intend to change it because some guy who's managed to piss just about everyone on the forum off in a few short months thinks I should.
Honestly the only thing I would change is may be making the colour scheme more diverse. You use a lot of black, white and blue but tbf I and many others do the same. Just make the colours less flat is all. Still just love your bots tho
Yeah I agree for the most part and it's something I've been trying to remedy lately, but I've been having issues. I tend not to go above 2 colours on my bots because, tbh, my artistic skills and abilities to figure out which colours work well together are dogsh**. The fact there's about 7 different shades of blue, 3 of green and then 1 of every other colour doesn't really help when I try to avoid falling into the classic blue and black rabbit hole too.

If you want your builds to stand out more- make each one different. For instance- make the flipper you just built also have a vertical spinner attached to it.
Literally stop trying to give advice
If you guys hate my advice that much, I'll stop.
Please do

TBH, I preferred the previous colour scheme. "Blinding", maybe, but it stood out more. Now it just looks like every other flipper you've ever built. It's as clean as your usual builds, don't get me wrong, it just... doesn't stand out from them, IMO.
I do still have the white and blue version but I think I'm gonna stick with this one as I prefer it personally. Don't really see the resemblance to most of my other flippers myself but I'll try to make them stand out more in future If you want your builds to stand out more- make each one different. Made several changes to this thing which I think make it look cleaner. Changed the colour scheme which is the main one, and I think looks a lot better than the blinding white of the old one. Also made the wedge plate a touch longer which means it's more effective, and thickened up the top bits of the wedge so they run better into the double thickness lower plates. Really happy with this thing now.

Shaid IV. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Strong, but not vary damaging. Sledgehammers are WAY stronger than gothic axes.
The ax isn't the best weapon. Use a sledgehammer.
Gothic axes are very strong in 2.2
By 'strong' I mean damaging. Literally look at the DP values. The Gothic axe weighs 32kg and has 738DP, while the 30kg sledge only has 300 DP. You have no idea what you're talking about so it's best not to say anything

Okay, so few stuff: Popups dont really work on DSL IRL Saw motor needs support to kinda cover it up Hypno teeth is nowhere near as powerful as Typhoon teeth not bad tbh
...and the MW IRL popup actually works. I could build a working copy of it out of legos. It just doesn't do as much damage as an unrealistic popup, and functions more like a flipper in IRL...
As you've been told before, IRL is about more than simply being able to be physically built (that's pretty much what Standard is actually) Honestly I don't think IRL building is for you, which is fine. Standard needs more builders and you clearly think about building in a way that meshes well with standard building

"IRL popup" is an oxymoron. No IRL tournament is gonna accept a popup because in real life Popups would do pretty much no damage

Thing for Poke's tournament. Rear hinge flipper powered by 2 medium VDMAs. Launches stuff pretty damn well. Drive is 2 NPC fasts and the armour at the front is double thick steel plates so it should be damn tanky. Originally started as a front hinge but I decided to swap it to a rear hinge since I build too many front hingers and figured a change of pace would be good. Bit underweight but there's really not much more I want to do with it as I'm pretty happy with it both looks and performance wise

I'll throw something in as soon as I can. Had been wanting to build something new but it seems to be filling up too quick for that, and the bot I would have entered of my existing lineup is a spinner, which 95% of the bots entered so far seem to also be, so I'll try and get something different in if possible
