New bots again

it's a juggler, it juggles and stuff. weapons on perm 132s

it's a juggler, it juggles and stuff

it's... not a juggler. Kinda undercutter thing. It kind of works? idk, does damage and seems to not die?

It's a cool idea but surely it can't get under anything? I've done similar things in DSL where I use a snapper based rack of weapons that flip over the opponent using the momentum of going towards them, but you need a really good wedge for it to work. Also as Sage says, it won't necessarily do much damage with the lower rack unless people get under you.

I still don't understand why FGs exist when TRFBDs do as well. Basically the exact same concept but TRFBDs get to be lamer and less manly. fite me SM
pretty sure FGs have been around longer than TRFBDs
yeh but people keep making them for some reason

They have a bitbox, I'm fairly sure, they work as a plough setup in a way. I could be incredibly deluded and wrong though.

new robot lads

includes madman3: beyond the thunderdome-or, or lamor, the no doubt not original but highly lame multiextender armor that I wouldn't have used 2 years ago. The wedges seem quite good and it does kill bots quite fast, but it gets outweaponed quite easily. It lasts a long time against most bot types though and doesn't seem to ever take much damage against spinners.

FGs do make more sense as LWs though.

Drums are pretty manly in DSL Standard I think.

Listened to this album a few times since it came out yesterday and reviewed it on Sputnikmusic too. Would recommend Petrichor by Sulphur and Alight In The Aftermath.

Yeah, sorry about them being annoying, but I like using non-top characters.
(BTW, Yoshi is like Top Tier, only without results)
I'm fine with low tiers and so on, it's just that Yoshi is a little annoying since he relies on grab releases and a lot of shenanigans. Plus his air speed makes his neutral practically impossible to deal with using certain characters. Of course some others (Bowser especially) can punish his spacing game quite easily so his matchups are fairly polarized. Also Toon Link is kinda floaty and is difficult to get big punishes on so he's pretty un-fun to play against. I don't think people should just play top tiers (especially in a game that's under a year old), but I have my matchup preferences.

Roy main here and loving it. I also main Mega Man, ROB and Meta Knight.

I also dabble in playing about everyone else. Except Donkey Kong. Can never play him properly it seems,
I play ROB as my main and he's one of the more underrated characters in the game. I also used to play a lot of Meta Knight so good stuff.

DK get everything from up throw basically. Otherwise you have to play bait and punish in order to get back airs. Normally once you've got a knockdown DK gets the stuff he needs (grabs, dash attacks, tilts, tech chases).

Villager and G&W here.

I used to main Mac. Now I cannot stand him
Hate playing against Villager but respect for G&W definitely.

Oh yeah, I just remembered that tourney mode was finally released to the public. As a mode, it's alright, but nothing special. Comparing it to an actual tournament in the Smash Bros community however, it's horribly limited and not very good as a result. It's got aspects that it's moving one step forward, but the rest is moving two steps back. But I don't know. I don't have a very solid opinion on it since I haven't played with it much. On top of that, an entire tournament with some weird choices what's considered a normal tournamet according to Daddy Sakurai it's not something I would do when hosting a Smash tournament. (I.E: a three minute time limit.)

This gives me an idea. A GTM Smash 4 tournament so I can set some different rules. I'm just throwing the idea out there since I don't plan on running one soon unless people are fine with this idea. If we are cool with this idea, then I'll set the rules and such up in Forum games, if not, then that's perfectly understandable and I won't be disappointed.

If we could arrange some times over the next few weeks this might be possible but obviously time zones are quite limiting.

What is a volcano kick?
Wizard's Foot /  Ganondorf's down-b.

Just a note but it's a super unsafe option. It's got horrendous end lag and is pretty slow to start up.

No, its Ganodorf's Up-Tilt. It has a long start up time, but has an insane amount of knock back, the range is much bigger than it looks, and the newest buff made it a shield breaker. It takes a little practice, but once you know when to use it, its easily Ganon's best move.
Sorry dude but nah. There is no viable situation to use it in Smash 4 except for styling on people who are very bad. It is a really awful move, like many of the things Ganon has. Ganon's best move is probably his forward tilt, up-smash, or back air, since they're quite fast and have strong knockback - the few moves Ganon doesn't have to commit super hard with when using.

I might be up for DSL 2.1. I might try Stock if it comes to that but I'd prefer DSL personally because I'm rusty as hell and only make trackbots these days like a true champ

My top seven mains are Sonic, Pikachu, Kirby, Ness, Yoshi, Jigglypuff, and Mario. Not necessarily in that order. Just to make it blunt, I'm not exactly the best at the game. I just can't seem to get my approach options without looking predictable.
Urgh, Sonic and Yoshi :(

play as a good but not immensely lame and braindead characters such as Falcon, Metaknight and Jigglypuff

also never play as Yoshi because he has grab release shenanigans which are lame and shouldn't exist in a game that claims to fix most of the problems with Brawl

Currently been playing as Doc in an attempt to nerf my general OP skill at the popular family party game Super Smash Bros. Still play ROB too if I need to show some punk who's boss too, but these days I mostly focus on Melee and PM, getting that Fox tech skill in. I main Falco in Melee, DK, Fox and Falcon in PM, and I guess ROB and Falcon in Tr4sh.

Oh yeah I play this. Not going to post any screenies or anything but I've got probably about 90 games done. Occasionally play ranked but mostly Classic because ranked can be a mess at times (once had a game with 3 Transporters and 2 Arsonists which was a little silly).

Personal favourite classes are Veteran and Framer.

Ryu hasn't impressed me. I used to play SF4 so I know how most of the inputs work, but I've tried to make him work for quite a while and he seems so lacking in reliable kill moves. Shoyruken is the only one that seems to be consistently strong enough but it's janky as hell and was always the one SF input I had trouble constantly pulling off.

Other people are probably having much more success than I am with him and I don't deny that he probably has a lot of potential that I'm missing out on, but it's personally not working at all for me.
Shoryuken out of shield is good, plus you can get some janky back airs if you try hard enough.

Also nice av, glad someone here doesn't just watch hammy space opera animoo lol

New characters were all solid - Roy especially seems greatly improved since he has pretty good throw setups, plus nair autocancels.

If anyone wants to play me just shoot me a PM asking for a friend code (I can play Wii U but I prefer 3DS since I have to switch my consoles round to play WiiU), I've got a good R.O.B., an okay Charizard, and a decent Meta Knight.
