You did not have a clean fresh install of the game (one of the requirements if you had bothered to read the installation instructions)
After you install the pack properly then open the Robot Arena2 DSL-TC folder in your Infogrames folder and right click on the Robot Arena2 Launcher icon and send to desktop as shortcut...then rename it to DSL v1.2 or whatever. Also if inside the folder is a Components.cfz then delete it as it is not needed and causes trouble for some.

And looks like you are my only fan who is commenting my robots. ( ) If you would put a link to them in your post I would click it, but I wait for them to build up then go look as it is too much trouble to search back each time (after all you ARE underlining them so why not link)

There is too much over there to post here, and the link worked for me when I posted it and it works now. If you were smart you would go to the forums and find it...I said it was pinned, and that means easy to find. If you want somebody to come fix it for you then you are out of luck.

Enlightening wisdom THERE YOU ARE.....I thought you were dead, or in jail, or both! Don't tell me you don't even get on your computer anymore because I know better. Look me up next time.

Yes...save your Robot Designs folder and your Teams folder and put in any RA2 folder you make...EXCEPT v1.0 if your bots have DSL parts or cannons, flame throwers, or hoover engines. You can't put DSL bots OR teams in any folder except DSL folders. You can also save any special textures you made and put in the Texture Library (BUT if you knew how to make textures then you would already know that)

I would/probably did uninstall and completely reinstall in this order
#1- Install Robot Arena 2 #2- Copy/Paste the Robot Arena 2 Folder in Infogrames and rename to "Robot Arena2 v1.0" (don't put bots in with cannon, flamers or hoovers) #3- Unzip the NO_CD patch for 1.0 to the 1.0 folder and run patch. #4- Install the RA2 v1.2 patch #5- Unzip v1.2 NO_CD patch to Robot Arena2 folder #6- Copy/Paste Robot Arena2 folder and rename to "Robot Arena2 Clean" (this will be the clean folder to copy/paste) #7- Make new empty folder on desktop and install DSL-TC v1.0 to it #8- Drag contents to Robot Arena2 folder and rename folder "Robot Arena2 DSL v1.2 (be sure to overwrite all files) #9- Install DSL-TC v1.2 patch to now empty folder on the desk top #10- Drag contents to Robot Arena2 DSL v1.2 folder and overwrite files #11- Copy/Paste Robot Arena2 Clean and rename to Robot Arena2 SCv3 #12- Unzip Starcore v3.0 to Robot Arena2 SCv3 and put your saved bots in the Robot Designs folder and replace Teams with your old Teams folder #13- Copy/Paste Robot Arena2 Clean folder and rename to "Robot Arena2 DSL v2.0 #14- Wait patiently!!!

I had that problem once when I loaded my stuff on my daughers comp. I forgot what I did to fix it, but I think I installed the old v1.2 without installing v1.0 first and when I redid it all was OK.

99% will have 800x600 or 1024x768 with 99% of those being 1024x768.

In real life it would be 100% possibility to stack 2 pistons to each other and even build that set so that it would work properly and I have even created an image in my mind of that how I would perfom that. Like goose said....one would be better, lighter and more powerful.

I think it is a good problem to have...maybe we need to see what causes it and do the same for motors. But if we did then that will eliminate "stacking" motors on servos too.

If you are installing DSL right...by installing to an empty folder on your desktop and moving to the Robot Arena 2 folder by hand, then the only thing I can suggest is you delete the Components .cfz file in the Main RA2 folder. But I think you are not following the directions because that is what usually happens. You need to delete the Components.cfz anyway.

See how I pulled the corners down in step 2, then I right clicked on the bot and turned it to see what it looked like.

Delete the Components.cfz in the main folder. (assuming you installed it correctly)

Mouth Full of DOOM[/u] added. It's robot out of . Did you have to AAM to make that bot? It looks like there is plenty of room without it.
