That motor's beautiful, Serge. With the right power, APs and cool wav file,,, more like awesome :mrgreen:
I'll check it out.
 
I had a couple combat vehicles I and a couple others were working on, in a mod...
Like:
'Tank' body,
'Armored Truck' body,
'Duck' body (6WD), and
'F-117 Stealth Fighter'
 
They would be AP-ed to 'base', and I'd make the chassis invisible (so NP there).
These would be AI-ed into a nasty 'AI Assault Team'.

Nice thought S-32, but not really.
Facts: Gig is a pretty good bot builder.  The last 3 of us (and probably Gig too) are more 'modders' than 'players'.  I personally like the coding and researching new things than competing bots.  I think the same for Trov and Phil (they can speak for themselves).   Though I rarely can do even that any more... Just do mainly new ideas and/or troubleshooting, for members....
Pt: We don't fit into this category, IMO.  Apanx would fit here too (probably the best py-er). Serge, same (C++ man).  Thankful for all of the above; we co-work continuously behind the scenes.
 
Also, as far as contributor, CB is working on the side toward DSL3.  His work is ongoing but not manifest,...yet. Large work.
 
Bottom line, I'm not sure the 'competitive' spirit is behind us modders as much as it is among the bot-builders.  Frankly I don't care, just trying to keep the community going and even thriving...

I agree, Nar/Joe.  You guys' work is very important... (just like those who organize and run tourneys).
I actually have tons of stuff I've never shown ('too lazy' and/or 'no time' I guess) that could be turned into a mod or two even... But what good does it do sitting on a hard drive?

So as I speak to you guys of co-working, I am reminding myself of the same...
 
I should be helping CB, but I told him that I don't think I would have time(which is fact); but still...  So he's working away pretty much by himself....

Now that is realistic and cool.  I always wondered why we didn't have this.  (It's like the Laser cannon)
 
In the same context, CB, what about an extender that has multiple APs along its length at 90 degrees from the extenders axis(point out sideways)?  Made a couple of these for 'Freak Bot' BOTMs...
 
Really helps on the nasty 'limit=7' problem.

LLB, this is not that unusual.  Sometimes Havok allows HB objects to mesh,... and gets itself in trouble...

Though a few more vertices than a sheet or ramplate, it'd be cool to have armor plates for RA2 that looked like the top of that bot....
