Mean2u.
When we are playing all vs. all I have serious lag pings and I'm not so bad challenger but if I wouldn't have those I wouldn't be any nooby challenger at all.
And do you remember our latest 1 vs. 1 match?
You just got beaten up quite badly. Of course I took punch too but I ruled the overall situtation. That was because I was.. masturbating.. or something.
lmfao. I can play too, I have to make some stock bots though. I have these custom components that make DSL more "realistic" for smaller sized bots. (Motors able to throw opponents with heavy discs and crap) But anyway, I would fight anyone (once I make some stock bots).

If I were you I'd take away the skis all together and just have the Ti plate. It's pretty strong as it is.

It's a very nice replica. There's one little thing though. The paint job is a tiny bit blurry and low qualityish. The bar looks awesome!

This happened to me once at my Grandparent's computer. The same exact thing. You installed it wrong, that's what happened to me.
To install you don't extract it right to the directory but make a new folder and extract all the DSL-TC files to that folder, then once extracted, move the extracted files via copy and paste them into your directory. You have to reinstall RA2 before you do this though, otherwise it'll make it worse.
Good luck! I know it's a pain in the ass to install but it WILL work if you do it this way. It has something to do with the read-only files in the RA2 directory and not being able to overwrite them via extracting.
again good luck!

Ok, now this would be cool. If you could replicate an outrunner brushless motor for an ant/beetle. an outrunner is a brushless motor that actualy has the back part spin with the shaft, also know as the external rotor brushless. the best outrunner motor is the AXI, they can be found here http://www.hobby-lobby.com/brushless_axi.htmI'm guessing the pictures kind of describe how they work, this would be an awesome ant/beetle weapon motor. another weapon motor is the mother of all beetle motors the "Jeti Phasor" it's an inrunner with a lot of torque and speed, info is here. http://www.hobby-lobby.com/jetibrushless.htmThese motors have to be good. The axi has TONS of torque and fairly good speed. The Phasor has LOTS of speed and LOTS of torque. Just some suggestions to your growing line of antweight parts.

i say that the pack needs the matador I totally agree...I was very upset with Hazard's job with the matador for the AU pack...It has be GOOD though, if it's not good, there's no point in it.

Whilst browsing the DSL 2.0 section ive seen some good bot request, but i feel there are some being left out.
1: Toro 2: Matador 3: Deadblow 4: Dominator 3 5: Big Brother 6: Wild Thing
I had trouble thinking of the 3 Robot Wars bots.
What does everyone think?
(Sorry about the title, i am clumsy) 1: Toro was made for the AU Battlebots AI pack, which you can get at RFSHQ 2: The Matador was also made for the AU BB AI Pack (although it was a pretty bad one) 3: Dead Blow...kinda simple dull bot...I think DarkRat made its pick axe. 4: Dominator 3-dunno what that looks like. 5: Big Brother was made in Alphasim's RW pack...it was pretty good. 6:Wild thing was also made for the RW pack...but was a very bad AI...looked awesome though. Damn, I must be getting to be an old geezer on forums...how do I remember this stuff? lol.

i beleve it has to do with the txt file.
it acts as if it were an axehead (only doing damage in 1 direction) instead of the like razertip(aby direction.
is the disk 1 component models, or 3 (disk, and 2 teeth)? Its 3...a disc and two teeth...and yes, it only does damage in one direction...otherwise it would do damage all the time.

Out of The Blue was a mean BW...I only beat it once with Xygon (my best Beetle) These bots look awesome...one word...BRUSHLESS!!!
Do you guys have like Copals and Liteflite wheels and sh**? or are they all DSLized?
I'm gonna make a new Xygon...That thing was tough.as everyone remembers from the old RFSHQ tournament...came in second.

Yeah I noticed that too...It was like that ever since it was in the AU BB AI pack...but i assumed it was because it did insane damage, so they wanted to regulate it...but now nightmare is just plain weak.

I tried to do this on That Darn Dustpan by giving the saw blade a really high frequency setting, with limited success. It makes a lot of sparks, but still nowhere near as many as real life. I think in order to make showers of sparks flying all over, you would have to edit the exe and increase the number of particles it creates on impacts (a dubious proposition at best). I once tried to change the .TGA file in the directory, but no luck at all...I hoped one of you smart guys would be able to pull it off...It would make big spinner hits so much nicer. 8) and yes Mean2U...your request was why I said "I second that request"...I just made a new topic because the whole topic was about something else and I didn't want to spoil it.

Hey, welcome back DinoV.
Yes, ScootOrDie is actually one of the tougher bots around because it's so pushy and nearly impossible to flip. It uses your original chassis and pneumatic rams, but everything else had to be adjusted a bit to make room for all that extra stuff. Same basic design though; it seems to be pretty effective. Looks awesome. Just one thing...That chassis was pretty damn tight...I had 4 fast T64s in there, there was barley enough room for batteries...how'd you fit all those apendiges on the ends and corners and stuff?

whoa...I've been gone for a real long time...Just popped by to see what's up with DSL 2.0.
anyway, I think that the game would be a lot more relistic if there were huge sparks showering after a big hit.
The pack looks great guys. keep up the good work!

yeah, It does that when you minimize the game really fast and reopen it, a restart always works
