I don't pay much attention to it. Martymidget basically only logs in now to downrep me and when I notice I'm just like 'oh okay'.
I do still lurk, though I've lost interest in pretty much everything RA2 related. Lurking for something that might bring it back mostly. you're the only person who I don't rep seriously though (mostly); because you don't care and everyone with half a brain knows that you're one of the best members.

oh and yes it's borderline unrealistic dsl due to having more than 100kg of weapons and motors on a polycarbonate extender.
since when has this been a problem in standard?

flipper segments > steel extenders, you were raised better than that
hell beater bars would be a better alternative in that situation

Multi extenders > baseplate anchors, in 99.9% of situations.

I like it. Is it LW or MW?
Giving the LW Barber-ous style bot a shot again. I think it went pretty well.
It's a nice looking thing, shame the weapons suck.

Beaters are mostly used as weapon extensions that also double as concussion weapons themselves. For spinners, they're best used with piercing weapons (such as light dsl teeth or razors), and for rammers they're good to use by themselves, such as the bot Thrackerzod posted. https://wiki.gametechmods.com/index.php?title=Concussionhttps://wiki.gametechmods.com/index.php?title=PiercingFor an example of a bot that uses beater bars for deweaponing and for gutripping; Maybe you could come up with a new way of using them. That'd be cool.

Look at him, enforcing the rules in a fair manner.
This is not what moderating is on this site.
How DARE he step away from the norm imposed by the mighty naryar.

it's a nice bot, good wedges too
Have you tried a setup where the bsg's are reversed so it pops the opposite way to see if it's more effective damage wise?

Pros: It looks nice, invertible. Cons: It's an undercutter. So basically everything.

The problem I can foresee with a big GTM tournament is choosing mod and building style, since we're all so spread over everything now.
One solution would be to rotate like in BBEANS.
Only slightly plausible solution there is, but honestly as great as the idea is we don't have enough people who build in all mods to fill each and every one to the same standard.

So, how do we fix gtm to be like that?
