Very small suggestion - you could try to use a very, very dark gray rather than a straight-up full-on black, so the body lines can be visible. This will make it look a lot more realistic.

Other than this holy crap awesome lol

I'm loving the amount of Jaguars entered. :P
You have to update that.

I suppose I can enter?

You can enter as long as you give the sign-up info required by the regulations.

The PS1 Carmageddons were crap compared to their PC counterparts.

I used to play C1 and C2 a lot, never tried TDR2000.

Also, splitting was in C2 first.

I have the original and tried the Pacific Rift demo.

Pacific Rift feels very, very weightless compared to the original - it's very easy to flip even a rally car.

Discussion / What's better?
« on: January 18, 2011, 09:29:18 PM »
Hi

I is bad DSL builder ;_;
Wat is better
NPC (normal or fast, don't matter) x mini wheels, or TWM3R x Hypnodisc wheels?
Assuming both use the same number of motors/wheels.

Secondly
Y does other batteries exists?
Ant Batteries r best, apparently, because every1 uses dem on all teh bot types, even popups and flipperz - wut

It helps that these bots are decent enough to not warrant rookie whacking.

Also, what did you do to Flandre ;_;
She should be something very heavily focused on raw power and entirely skipping all other factors, like a flail razor spinner (Middleweight or above).

Lols, it actually beat NAR AI Lock Nut

Epic lolz, just a shame the wheels are sort of kinda exposed.

Should have made a pop-up with dual swords... suits the name much better...
That aside, you could have tried NPC-normals and mini-wheels for drive.

While I do enjoy your presence in the paddock, Joe, you forgot to fill out the "Family/Last Name" section of your entry form. Gotta fill it out, you know, legal junk and whatnot. (Same to SKBT; what's Alex's last name?)

Hope you make a custom livery set for your team - stuff like this is right up your valley.

(BTW I'm surprised at how well balanced the line-up is right now; the only make that doesn't have any representation here is Jaguar!! I was afraid I'd have to limit the number of Ford entries to prevent Mustang spam.)

@badnik

I suppose that it's okay for me to work on your car's livery, then? I don't want to stress you out, and when you get a new computer I will happily allow you to update your car.

@Andrew: I have actually had NR2003 for a while now, just never felt the need to use it until now.

@NFX: I've updated the viewer link so there should be no leeching problems. Hope you got the viewer just fine.

@All others: A few rules have been amended to better facilitate managers with two driver teams. Please update your entry info if you have more than one driver, or if you have not filled out your entry completely.

DP

Can someone make the template into a PNG file? Otherwise I cant compete ;-;

You should try out using GIMP to edit your paint job - with a bit of time, you can get some really cool-looking cars.

Also, you don't have to paint your car - you can ask me to do it - just give me a your car's sponsor and I'll work from there.

takatsuki-yayoi presents...
Game Tech Mods Grand Touring Championship

Welcome one and all to the GTM Grand Touring Car Championship.
Since the GTM Shootout 2011 event was really successful, I thought about starting up a whole series of races.

The GTM-GTC is a series contested by powerful V8 American GT race cars at a number of both American and overseas racing circuits. Tracks such as the infamous Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Daytona's road course, and even foreign tracks such as Suzuka Circuit.

You will have until February 20th to submit/confirm your team data!

Table of Contents

1.0 How to Enter
- NOTE: You can enter up to two drivers for your team. Try to keep the liveries mostly the same, but with a unique number for each driver.
- Supply a driver name. You do not have to use your real name, just use something that sounds reasonably real.
- Give a car number. The number must be whole and no more than three digits long. Examples: 03, 765, 2, 69. You cannot pick number 1.
- Pick a car from section 3.0. You can pick from four: the Chevrolet Corvette C5, the Ford Mustang, the Dodge Viper, and the Jaguar XKR.
- Pick a driver personality from section 2.0. You may only pick one for each driver, so choose carefully.
- OPTIONAL: Use the painting stuff below to create your car's paint job. You need to have your car number on the side doors, hood/bonnet, and rear.
- NOTE: If you suck at painting liveries, you can ask me to paint one for you. Let me know: Car colors, number, and main sponsor (if any).

2.0 Driver Personalities
Here you can pick one driver personality from a set of many. This will determine how your AI driver tackles races.
If you have two drivers, pick one for each of your drivers.

- Ford Mustang (2003)
