Alright, gave the Bugs some more fights.
Still looking for a challenge, , send your bot (HW preferably, or another multibot team if you want), I'd like to see how it stacks up against others.
Are your bots AIed in these matches, out of curiosity? Also for these challenges you want, check out the Challenge Board. It's not the same as Tournaments as heckoface seems to believe. https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?board=101.0

That's not the way to ask people for stuff Kai, don't expect people to do things for you that you could do yourself.

^This. Baseplate anchors are less useful than multi-extenders for baseplate mounting, and weigh more.
Also, you could probably quite easily get a perm in there, a perm 45 weighs less than the etek and the larger perm could fit in if you cut the chassis armour/size down slightly, and maybe downgraded the wheels. I know it's a lot of fuss but it'll do wonders for the 'IRL-ness' of it.

What you can do is like that bot you just posted, put a perm inside the chassis with the belt sticking out and build supports for the belt. But don't use Multi-extenders for the support, they're only invincible when directly attached to baseplate, you might as well use something stronger.
EDIT: And yes, having a 70kg motor just suspended on those few supports probably wouldn't happen IRL

The spam going into this thread is crazy and not worthy of being in here with the awesome work Wham is doing.
On a related note, your double post was 2 minutes after the first one, LDog. There is an edit button for a very good reason. Edit posts, don't double post.

VB is right, the amount of shovelware is ridiculous, but some of the third party games are gold - pointing at RE4, Goldeneye, House of the Dead. Koss is even more right with his post. Finally, Wii fanboys? No. Just logical people. I am a PC gamer (not that I'm proud of the image PC gamers seem to put across), I have a Wii, I often play on a 360, it's not a fanboy thing. We're just not short-sighted and completely biased.

If you say that the Wii was a good console you have something wrong with you. I assumed that it made a loss because if you want to put a half-decent hardware in your console, you have to make a loss on the console.
Actually no, I'm perfectly healthy, but thanks for the totally unnecessary insult. Assumptions get you nowhere. The Wii was a great business move by Nintendo as it was more affordable than it's competitors and was more family friendly. There are many more families than there are 1337 HXC GAM3RZ like you. I like the other consoles too, I'm not biased, it's just kids like you who think that SPECS = ERRYFIN' AND GMAEZ MUZT B REELISTIC N BLOOD that really **** me off.

They sold loads of Wiis. But they make losses on the consoles, they make their money and software sales. Poor third party support due to the pointless and annoying gimmick (motion control) and a lack of popular games due to crappy hardware lead to very poor software sales in comparison to the Xbox and PS3. IIRC, Nintendo made huge losses on the Wii.
http://kotaku.com/5100646/so-how-much-money-does-nintendo-make-from-each-wii-sold They made profit on every Wii. It's the 3DS and Wii U that killed it. And I knew the 3rd party argument would come up. There are some great games if you dig enough. Last Wii game I bought was House of the Dead: Overkill which was... so much fun.
The wii may have a very few good 3rd party games. Compare this to the Xbox360 and PS3.
Also, this a bit of truth from the comments of the Kotaku article.
This is crap. This is how it works:- Company makes consoles.- Company sells consoles to retailers, get money- Retailers sells consoles to customers, get money. So, if each Wii cost $244 to produce, then Nintendo would have to buy each Wii to the retailers for $245 or $246 each maximum, meaning a profit of only… emmmm… $2.And no retailer in his right mind would sell a console that only turns a profit of about $2.[/spoiler]
And this bit you omitted from the same comment. RUBBISH. If Nintendo is making money off the Wii, it's more likely it costs $150 at best to manufacture each Wii, sell them to retailers for $200, and the retailers sell them to $250. So, $50 profit for Nintendo (minus shipping costs), and $50 profit for retailers. Nintendo made a profit on it and it was the most successful console sales-wise of the last gen. Get over it.

You should have realised that Nintendo is run by autistic monkeys after they released the Wii-U, after they made huge losses on the Wii.

But yeah I don't really wanna delve into this topic, it'd come across even worse than me saying this.

A massive entertainment complex would be cool, with like a mall, a pool, a club, etc, and all the buildings all look fairly modern and are close together with like a big plaza with a fountain/trees/benches and stuff in the centre. You know what I mean.

I'm not sure 'Official GTM AI' is the best name for it, that would suggest it's completely open to everyone and is all good with all the admins, whereas it's just a tourney AI pack. Just lettin' you know.
