Welcome  The bot would need atleast 4 ants, perhaps 5. You don't need to put the drive motors on ME's. Would help if you told us the armour. Use our image host and put them in .PNG. Other than that, it seems pretty good for a first.

Yes, and while that's because, as you said, his was generally more well built than your bot, the main reason will be because you kloned.
You copied the design, he originally came up with it, so ofcourse his bot is going to get more respect from the community.
I'm not talking about respect. You were asking me to improve it, yet nobody asked for him to improve his. I think yours needs the larger chassis, to protect against Havok bombs.
Seems mostly alright at the moment, but i shall look into it.

Who said anything about bigger chassis?
My recent one uses the same chassis near enough and has a lighter CB.
You can always change it back or have two and change the chassis in one and scrap that one if it doesn't work :P

If not then just add wide ant wheels instead
I was wondering if there was anything else. And for some reason it only likes the small ant wheels on copals otherwise it shall havok (maybe to do with the mesh?). Very annoying indeed.

And as long as you use normal NPCs, technos won't be too grippy
...fine But with that weapon/speed it is bound to mauler dance to death (it already does it a bit). Wedge is absolutely useless on such a design. Really.
Ehh, i was aiming for a type of FS/TS with the wedge. Infact i may aswell scrap it :P More proof i don't like HW's (or atleast i cannot build them). Anyway here is the underweight AW :D  Currently has copal drive. If i upgrade the drive it will havok and im in a bit of a block as of what else to put on :P Oh and the armour's plastic 1.

*ahem* But the ford wheels are there cuz i felt like it, i was trying to be original and most of the other wheels weren't big enough, too big or had the wrong grip (too much and it wouldn't move without mauler dancing).
But i may change them to something else later on.

Well the HS was a failed attempt anyway but atleast it served it's purpose (sorta). perhaps try and get hammers on there, there's a challenge for you ;P
Challenge = won. Anyway as i said i shall show you the finished version of angler:  I was just aiming for looks/creativity instead of complete killingness :P Now has a proper wedge and can run inverted and self-right (mostly). Plus i'm about to finish an (underweight) AW CageSpinner. Guess who i got that from.

I really like that Only thing i can think of is shortening the wedges, unless it hinders performance. Oh and the ramplates look like they're sticking out a bit to me.

What do you use to control your 'bots? (arrow keys, WSAD, whatever else)
And what do you use for weapons?
Me, i use arrow keys and the spacebar/VBN.
Sometimes if i have a spinner or something i only press once i use L (dont ask me why).

Ok, after much waiting (and I do apologize for how long it took), I have a ready robot. Hopefully, it'll do me good.

Can someone tell me files needed for the robot to be sent over? Is it just the .bot file, or is more necessary?
EDIT: Should the name be changed for this thread? reading the rules it doesn't quite fit in (nicknames are used here vs. full)
You can either .Zip the bot file into a folder and send it or you can put the bot on the bot exchange. And yes you are right about the names. And Syph, you cannot host your own challenge. Make a showcase aswell. Kewl splash though

I shall just say now that my bot isn't too serious but i would be surprised if i didn't win against Hard bawt :P
However it depends on what his bot is like.
Mine was just complete overkill :P
