Generic power metal with songs that all sound the same and cheesy ass chorus's. I can put up with a few Dragonforce songs but a whole concert of them will be pretty bad. This is probably the better end of power metal, although you are entitled to your opinion. The Jag Panzer song should definitely appeal to you.

Power metal is indeed a great sub genre, with the recent growth in popularity of prog as well, it'll only get stronger, and more popular.

Said wedges also have long(*assuming they are long*) blades on them.
Yeah, but Caster armour is better :P So when it is struck from a point behind the blades it doesn't break. Also provides some degree of protection for the side.

Hate to burst your bubble but Green Day will never be an emotive hardcore band. It's a dead genre.
Not really emotive hardcore, but their newest album is emo fodder. And sorry Nate, I guess I went a little far and I'd rather not let this escalate too far.

Actually, it was just you assuming that metal is crap and stuff that kicked this off. And yes, I hate modern mainstream rock because most of it is basically aimed at either anorexic teenagers or mainstream pop listeners. Green Day's early stuff was decent but their new stuff is like 100% emo.
