It's like an awesome combination between Big Nipper and Anthrax, particularly on that drop out of the arena  :approve:

nostalgia is a bad thing... it makes us remember how the forum is only a shell of it's former self in terms of RA2 (although the moderating and tournament life is much improved)
But overall, it's been great for keeping the RA2 community and fanbase alive, I'd say.
In recognition of that, I propose a toast for the future of GTM- in the name of Peace, Freedom, and a few less fat bastards eating all the pie   :approve:

Hello, fox boy. :gawe: *waves*

It'll be interesting to see how many grudge matches from the previous tournament carry over into this one.
Nah, you haven't done anything in RIW- Replica Wars on the other hand...if there's anyone who's going to take you out, it's going to be me   :gunz:

It's somewhere in the .bot file, It's to do with the line where you can determine which armour it has, I think. I'm fairly sure it's the last number out of the five that determines chassis shine, but I'm not entirely certain how to alter it properly.

It determines the intensity of shine somehow, and is apparently a number from 0-100.  The first three numbers are RGB values and the fourth is opacity (of the shine, not the actual chassis... unfortunately).

You can also add a reflection map (like the shiny hub wheels) to make it super shiny.  Find the word 'false' that comes right after the second block of gibberish (the first block of gibberish is the preview picture, the second is the skin) and change it to 'true'.  It doesn't look good on boxy chassises though.  It's best on complicated chassises or ones with bent sides.
OK- I might have a look into it. Come to think of it, if it's possible, this might be a good initial prototype for a DSl3 Mortis, with its similar-to-IRL functionality (right down to the Beta-styled axe). Not a request persee, but more of a potential suggestion.

I'm too much of a perfectionist to settle for an RA2 chassis for Mortis.  I'd need to make it with custom components, and use actual tank treads.

Besides, I don't need any more HW replicas.
I wasn't referring to appearance, but more in the way it functioned- so that it could have potentially been adapted in the ways you suggested, with the custom parts and tank tracks and things.

And that's alright- it was more of a suggestion than anything, really. Although, if you've got a sufficient amount of HWs...
...you did get Cassius II into there beforehand, right?   :laughing

You are all brain damaged!
Coming from a Stetson-wearing dustbin who wants TX unbanned?   =P

Do you have brain damage?

I may not be a mod of this section but this is toeing the line. Stop before you say something you'll regret.

i got your back
Thanks for that Kill.
Kill, you are credit to Team.

Quite interesting, actually- at least that's one redeeming thing about you. Any plans to create arenas?

Yes, actually- Asperger's Syndrome. A couple of us are also on the spectrum, but they don't act the way you do.

027, All you have to do is grow up and accept other people's opinions - an appreciation for anime being one of them. If you're for some reason unable to do that, then frankly, it's not really our loss.
Whole heartly agree.
I'm not a huge fan of anime, but I don't call people "fags" for liking it. Not every likes Golf and COD like I do. But we can be civilised and make forum life a lot easier rather than just flaming anyone for anything.
Quoted for truth. Then he tries to make out they're the bad guys for it, picking on him because he's "special".

027.

I'm confused how you expect to be treated like an angel when you're just a pompous twat who treats everyone with less respect than they treat you.

I don't care if people don't like me for being honest. But statements of fact (ala TRIAS) are never insults, you simply think that because you have autism that have an excuse for everything, it gives really nice people like GF, SOTG and NFX a bad name. Not to mention the fact you told me to go die once after I did pretty much nothing wrong.

I know I can hardly talk, but you just make me so angry times I just want to explode.

[/really angry rant]
It's not an attitude it's a fact!
See? That's your problem- your complete and utter refusal to take anyone else's points into inconsideration, and your utter delusion that you're always in the right no matter what you've done- viewing yourself as some sort of victimised saint whose righteousness and purity is always being comprimised by evil people such as myself and anyone who likes anime, simply for being "special" and therefore better than everyone else.

Now you listen to me- just because you're on the spectrum doesn't give you the right to act like a perpetually angry, belligerent little sod. I know several members (myself included- with Asperger Syndrome) who are also on it to varying degrees, but I've never seen them act the way you do.
You never realise that actions have consequences- in this case personally attacking people like smashy for the most minor of offences, hating people simply for having differing opinions to yourself, and generally throwing around insults and acting like a spoiled baby whilst expecting no repercussion whatsoever for it.

Fact is mate, by using your condition as a crutch for acting this way, you're impressing no one- just showing everyone how broken you are. Take a hike, and don't return until you can at least match the maturity of a pre-schooler.

This'll be TX's final warning. Hopefully, with the demise of Sparkey, he can submit his harmful ways.
Or he'll get banned again. Hopefully he'll make it quick.
It's a shame to see even the worst troll go, because this is a small community and we need more members.
That's a point, considering that we do need members, but I do think that things have gotten better since he and Sparkarse were banned- if anything, it's become Nirvana for RA2 fans. On a side note, I do like a fairly small (but not too small) community- everyone knows everyone, and it's almost like one big happy (albiet sometimes dysfunctional) family    :approve:
Why do we need more members? We're fine!
Not a massive amount, but keeping a reasonable number- that's what I mean.
