Well to start with you'll probably want to remove all the spaces, I don't think RA2 is too fond of them.
Secondly, you need the other values you see in all AI lines, turnspeed and radius.
Have you also wired the robot correctly in the botlab? (Naming the controls LeftRight, Forward and Flip as well as adding a smart zone?)

You don't actually need to worry about that as such, all that does is stop the weapon moving if it's not there. Most AIers ignore it, as long as the weapon works.

You really need to post these issues in the Tech Support area of the forum rather than Off Topic - RA2 is the topic of the forum :P
But yeah, try following this

Philetbabe's extensive guide is what taught me and many others.

Rocket Sledge is very original

Eh... not hugely.

I am hugely confused by your choice of poly extenders on the back. Does it need that extra length or is it just fragile for the sake of being fragile?
Also, seems like quite a lot of weight for a perm - does it spin fast enough? I tend to largely steer clear of dual vs at HW but that's because I love the power of a dual.

How large is the file? Also try saving as a .png

You can upload a picture to use as your avatar on the Modify Profile>Forum Profile menu. I believe there is a size limit though, somewhere around 150x150 if I remember correctly.

There's tutorials around here for pretty much everything you could want, check out our Tutorials and Tips board :)
https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?board=90.0

A very popular one that you may not find there is Clickbeetle's guide to making Stock bots, found here:
http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm

Good luck and welcome to the forum :)

This makes me want to build again, but I am kinda completely out of my RA2 phase.

I don't get it about that beater armor does it help deweaponing or something, i know i may sound like an idiot but i've been conditioned in IRL building for too long
and it's your fault fool

Yeah i know but the current flailfest metagame is just making me losing the already small amount of interest in DSL-S i had

I'm pretty convinced it's been a flailfest since before you joined. I for one just choose to forget that and build what I want.

I could be very wrong but it might look even cooler without the spike strips.

Drive looks pretty overkill to me. Shouldn't mag drive be more than enough? Also, try using flippermakers instead of the alu extender as a wheelguard, the round extender looks slightly out of place to me.

And it's not like I haven't tried to do something relevant as of late. I did have some rather nice renders of some of my ARC machines and other things in Maya that I thought might be of interest, which I've since uploaded here. The only response I got was along the lines of "we don't care".

The thing is, although it is relevant as such to the theme of the forum, and we have very strong links to roboteering and such, this is still an RA2 forum - and it always will be. So relevant in one sense, but in a stricter sense, not really. Hence your uncaring critic.

Oh yes, should've guessed you'd kiss his ass. You going to blow him in return for precious rep, next?

Way to go with being respectable.
Dude. Rep is messed around with those that have it generally to those that have it. Anything else must've had some kind of reasoning - even if it's seeming a little moany about the system.
It's really not too hard to gain respect here and I thought you of all people would know that by now.

STEPS TO GAIN LOTS OF RESPECT
1) Don't lash out.
2) Contribute in valuable discussions.
3) Actively build.
4) Run a tournament.

You say you don't care but you continuously complain about the system, even going as far as feeling the need to insult those who defend it - and only last week I actually saw you defending homosexuality on Facebook rather than using it as a way to insult. Just chill out.

I actually think I disproved that by defending it :P
Why? It doesn't mean anything, and all it does is cause trouble.
As I said on Skype, it was generally a good way of showing how valuable somebody was, and a way of marking their contributions. And sometimes it was amusing.

And now it's been taken away from all of us by the looks.
GG, WP.

Not the greatest loss of all time.
