You obviously are- in how you're pretty much looking down on me for not liking it. I realise this is going to be BAWing, but really- is there a justifiable reason to be hounded this much for not liking it?
Because your reason is, um, unreasonable. Pitting bots was probably more difficult than flipping them out by Series 7, because so many bots were adapted to fight clamps, spinners, and bots with horizontal weapons. The amount of crap you give a fantastically engineered and damaging (see the battle with Robochicken; and before you start whining about how little damage it does, have a look at your little flippers which do even less damage, both superficially and internally) robot because you simply don't like it is both insulting to its creator and poorly reasoned.

As people have said, people like to have a point explained rather than just thrown out. That's why I got annoyed that one time; you simply didn't explain why. Furthermore, saying "in my opinion it is better" is better than, "it is better" simply because it properly represents the fact that it is an opinion and people will respect it.

I was almost tempted to enter a IRL style bot into this.
It also just doesn't feel right to build something unrealistic in DSL.

That's because you removed any of the actually useful aspects of it; having multiple spinners on a DSL HW doesn't work unless it's like Marty's ones, and they don't need unrealistic. You killed Trinities, which would have been by far the most useful thing to have; I did however make a multibot crawler, but they're banned too.
