I seem to prefer it afterwards. They add an extra depth and jois de vívre, I reckon. There are a few militant bronies, I agree, but they're generallly a very pleasant bunch for the most part.
Indeed. I like the show and don't mind the bronies because the material almost never leaves the thread it's assigned to unless it could relevant in another.

Haha sure

Okay, first of all, his bot has two sets of wheels, one on top and one on bottom. For invertibility. The axles on the motors are also facing inwards, which adds complication.

When you AI, you're supposed to label the W-S keys "Forward" and the A-D keys "LeftRight". Capitalization is needed or else the game freaks out.
He kinda did this, he named them "forward" and "steering".
EXCEPT THEY WERE THE WRONG ONES. The forward control was the steering and vice versa. Also, he programmed the REAL forward one to S-W and not W-S.
ALSO, this bot is angled 90 degrees from the normal front which annoys me even more

lfjsha dhldfjnakdnm, djajckxdbnaskjdbfj, asdk it wasn't hard, just ANNOYING as heck

And FPOPTOPOPXOX's weapon is annoying to AI too. It's a frenzy hammer but the frenzy.py isn't working on it for whatever reason even though I labelled the controls correctly.

Also, would the extender work for the motors and "wheelguards" count as part of the extra 200KG bonus on walkers?

Shufflers can't use weapons for wheels, right?

going with a u-shaped chassis weighs less than a h-shaped chassis iirc.
But why? The volume would be identical.
It's all about surface area in RA2.

Actually, that would make sense IRL. More metal = more weight, it's not like there's anything inside the chassis to take up weight. Volume only matters in an aquarium or something.
