Oh trust me, he was MUCH worse. Imagine LRA2, but with multiple accounts. Now imagine him ripping off other people's ideas and flaming vets for criticizing him, and you get an idea of what Megavolt was like. He was so bad that every n00b who joined the forums for the next month was accused of being Megavolt.
OT: No, I did not make this, but it is hecka cool.

Do any of you guys from the original forums remember how long it took to get Megavolt banned? He was a whole lot worse than LRA2.

Yea, copying my game to a flash drive would have been a good idea. I would definitely have done that with my bot's if I had been there when they reformatted the PC at home.
Clever secret message by the way, I'll try that if I can't get this downloaded version to work.

Well, I did find a complete download on there. Thank you.
I cant get the game to run though. I'll try to figure it out later.

Well, as you all know, I've been away for quite awhile. I haven't built or posted any bots since my BBEANS5 entry that I built while I was in Army AIT. Anyway when I left there, I sold my laptop to a friend who was going to be stuck down there for awhile longer. Also, through an unfortunate accident, my RA2 CD snapped in half. When I got home, I found out that my parents had been forced to reformat our home PC, so all the bots that I had ever built, along with my only copy of RA2 were lost forever. I wasn't really all that devastated by this because I had gotten into some other games anyway. After that, I continued to monitor my BBEANS progress, but other than that, have hardly thought about RA2. Well, it just so happens that I am in college now, and I just recently got the urge to get it again. Unfortunately, as I said, my copy of RA2 no longer exists. I can probably pick up a cheap copy on e-bay, but I could swear I saw somewhere on here that there is a full version of the game available for download.
It isn't on the GTM download page though, and a forum search brought up little of value, so I'm asking "Is there a place where I can get the full version of Robot Arena 2?" Also, out of curiosity, does anybody happen to have copies of any of my old bots?

The Machete of course. You can slash people with it and make a bloody mess! What fun!

I use arrow keys and space most of the time. It's the most comfortable way for me.

Guns are cool, but why anyone would want to spend a crapload of money on a box of old .22 shells is beyond me. Ammo that you actually shoot is expensive enough.

I read pretty much anything fantasy. Forgotten Realms the Inheritance Cycle, Lord of The Rings. I've read it all. I've recently finished the last book in The Faerie Wars Chronicles by Herbie Brennan. I've also read Artemis Fowl and Alex Rider. Oh, and the Pendragon series by DJ Mchale is awesome too.

Wow, I thought since I'd been gone so long, that my bot would have been eliminated by now, but I'm still in the winners brackets! Not for much longer, I bet.

Have you ever read a book?  Ever?  Just today, some more evidence of evolution was revealed.  Read for a change http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2009/05/darwinius_masillae.php

Claiming that creationism is based on science insults all of our intelligence.

Which only proves your ignorance.

Now it all makes sense.  You saw Ben Stein's bullsh** movie and are now trying to pretend as though you know about biology.  Ben Stein is a dipsh** former speech writer for Nixon, not an expert on biology.  Actual biologists, on the other hand, are experts on biology.  Over 90% of them agree that evolution is most likely what is responsible for the gradual changes of species (much like how most physicists agree that the invisible force gravity is responsible for attraction to planetary bodies).

Seriously, learn how to read books by biologists.  While you're at it, read some scientific journals.  If you stick to stuff by Ben Stein and other douchebags, you'll only continue to make yourself look like an ass.

Yea, I saw his movie awhile agop, but thats not whre Im getting all of this from. I have read many books, actually both by Creation Scientists (they do exsist) and Darwinists.. However I am not even talking about whether or not life evolved right now. Im saying that it is just as possible that life was started by a higher power of some kind as it is that it was started by a lightning strike and a lucky combination of protiens. I am also saying that there is nothing unscientific about belief in a higher power.

A theory needs scientific data and evidence to be considered a fact.... Intelligent Design has none....

...and what scientific evidence does the theory of Evolution have?

Quote from: Jeffery;39484
There is no Theory of Intelligent Design.  Only dumb asses who don't know how scientific theories work would say such a thing.
Oh so now you're resorting to insults on my intelligence? Can't you come up with a better response than that?
I suppose calling it a theory might be a bit bold, but I was trying to make a point that Intelligent Design is just as valid an opinion as Darwinism. Yes, I know the mainstream scientific community refuses to accept that, in fact they will kick you out if you say such a thing. Perhaps they're afraid of it.

And we're fine with that.  You see, unlike creationists, when we don't know something, we admit it.  Creationists make sh** up.

By the way, if everything needed to be created, who/what created God?

For both the Theory of Evolution and the Theory of Intelligent Design, there has to be something that was just there. For you, it was matter. For us, it was God (any god actually since not all creationists are Christian).

The swine flu will kill us all, and if not global warming will. So nobody will be around to use up bandwidth on the internet. No worries!

Evolution can't technically be a scientific fact because it isn't observable, testable or repeatable. Or am I wrong?
Some could say bacteria becoming more resistant to antibiotics is proof, but actual proof of evolution would require proving that one species actually became another species, which unfortunately takes to long to really observe.
As for our purpose as a species, survival is definitely on the list, but I believe there is more than that.

And Hydro, please stop posting about stuff if you have no idea what you're talking about.

My bot is more dangerous than it looks in the splash, but I'm not very happy with it either. I wasn't even planning to enter a HS, because I knew it wouldn't be at the same level as other ones. If I still had Megachick, you probably would have seen a beefed up version of her in the tournament, and I would have entered a lot sooner.
MY favorites for this tournament are 45-70 Magnum by Acams and Bumblebee by Sage.
