If you are talking about a Sheck Spinner...
-You do not need a ton of drive
-Putting the weapons on flails increases their power exponentially.
-You do not need a huge motor to power the shell unless its a heavyweight.

On the file uploader, can you make the little window with the text to copy out larger. There isn't enough space and it doesn't let me copy out the entire line. I have to do it in parts using Cut/Paste.

 New SnS. Plastic 3. I went through every part of Shoop and I think this is my best SnS yet. NPC Normals so they have a ton of hitpoint. Piglets for the hitpoints, Flippermakers to lengthen out the side before the steel 40cm skirt to make it realistic. Motorcycle wheels for high HP and very wide reach. Probably the best SnS/HS Middleweight I have built.

 This component. In the dropdown menu under the Ronin Flags in the extras part. The blank spot in the middle has no collision mesh, and the collision of the flag is much bigger than the flag shown. Attach it and hit F12 to look at it.

(The fact that its not there and it was a joke XD). The Typhoon Flag component has a large space in it with no collision mesh, and a flag up at the top. Good for self-righting.

Well now it doesn't get knocked off by Lock Nut.
But when it bounces off the walls the motors still fall off.
I just had a different idea about drive so I'm off to try that.

Yup. Thats good because of what I said earlier. The bot doesn't transfer all of its energy into the other bot in a hit, so it does not have to spin completely back up after. If they were vertical it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Click on the "Quote from Somebody on January 30, 2010" part to go to the post that Epic Flying is Epic 2 is in. Keep reading after that and you can see Hammer of Justice fly. (HOJ weighs hundreds of thousands of pounds), and a box with a neutron star piece (also quite heavy).

How does it spin so fast to make everything come out like that?
And for the record, I just tried to make a Shoop with TWM3Rs. Spins faster. more damage, buuuuuut it has an unsurprising tendency to lose the motors. More like 2 out of 3 first hits against Lock Nut. Then it survived the first hit the third time but eventually lost a motor.
Thats the advantage of Piglets, they have 8000 HP if I remember correctly.

I tried for a whole day to make a better version of Genetic Plaything. That bot is worthless. Its too unstable. I haven't seen yours though. Is it in your showcase Pwn?
And its more important to have more weapons.
Whats better, two razor tips on a dual perm, or 10 on a Perm 132?

Very good.
Another thing though, you do not need a lot of external armor around the chassis (like those heavy hex plates), because it is rarely hit.
