Why not just use up the weight by raising the armor? Or make the skirts steel? Or dump in 2 more ants?
Is "I've sent it now" a valid excuse? I'm happy enough with it anyway. There wasn't enough weight to raise the armour to the next one up or make the skirts steel, and extra ants would probably be wasted as I feel that this one will not drag on too long. No point adding on extra weight for the craic I think.

 This is what I sent for my challenge with TRB. It's underweight and too fast for it's own good. I predict it'll last 10 seconds before hitting the blade in the middle and being sent flying. But I couldn't make anything better, and sending a pre built bot seemed a bit of a cheat in my eyes. The craptacular pun I am immensely proud of though.

Many incarnations later, I came up with this.  The illegitimate love child of Miss America and Industrial Coal Miner. Top disc on a perm 80, bottom discs are on piglets. 8 ants. I made a completely new robot for that challenge with TRB, but this does seem tempting.

(Changed from HW due to a poll) - Realistic Rule
- No Multibots
- No BFE/AAM
- No Ai/Cheatbot2 Parts. Anything found in a clean copy of DSL without using cheatbot2 is fine.
- All in game glitches allowed as long as they abide to the realistic rule.
- I can AI if you really need me to, but i'd suggest doing it yourself if you can.
- Bots get one free Havok restart per match, if they Havok again the robot is disqualified. So don't let your teammate down.
- 3 minute long matches. If robots are still alive at the end of the match I will decide on the total points for the team.
- 16 robots sorted into teams of 2
Now all that's out of the way. The gimmick of this particular tourney is that you are randomly mixed into teams at the beginning. You are then given a period of time (2 weeks) To discuss tactics with your partner and make your robot. HOWEVER. The winning teams after the first round are then put into a hat and reshuffled again so you are with someone completely different. Don't get too attached to your teammate, literally or metaphorically. You are then given 1 week to tune/rebuild your robot if so desired. Then you fight again. The same thing happens next round until we have a winning team. If I don't get a revised robot/new robot I will presume that they want to use the robot from the previous round. I hope I explained that well. I think it could be interesting.

I think Fotepx has managed to encapsulate our olympic mascots exactly by making a robot which seems to have no correlation to the olympics whatsoever bar the name.
I like the looks of it though, is it any good in the arena?

With all that empty space you can probably move the control board. I think you may have to bite the bullet and rebuild the chassis to make it smaller and lighter and so you can add more weapons on the disc.
