Cerberus in Series 4 and the First World Championship. I don't know why, but there's something I liked about it.

On the plus side, it was the fastest Robot Wars entry of all time. =D ![]() 3028

Fluffy in Series 7. Such a shame that it ended up losing its drive.

That's quite alright- I notice I haven't introduced myself, though. I am GF93- one of the resident cool guys here, and what they call the Joker of the GTM Deck

First of all, I'd like to take the opportunity to say Welcome to the Forums! Hope you enjoy your time here
![]() For the robot, I've noticed that the disc is facing the wrong way- if you turn it so that the teeth face upwards, you can actually throw opponents upwards with it as opposed to forcing yourself over them. Certainly a good advantage to have- it allows it to work almost like a flipper ![]() 3031

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: Most dissapointing robots« on: December 04, 2011, 09:55:56 AM »Actually, it was fairly good for Series 3- but some weapons, like Shunt's axe, had gotten considerably stronger, and it hadn't been adapted to resist the blows. But in all honesty, I think it could've won on points by throwing 101 around. It had weak armour (poly) and I think 101 would have won on points.Despite being my favourite, im gonna have to say Mortis, every year that it entered it was shortlisted as one of the favourites for the competition and had crap loads of money injected into it, yet it still came up short every timeAgreed. On a similar note, Cassius II deserves a mention here, despite it being one of my all-time favourites. Had it not reversed into the pit, it could've won the whole series. As for Hypno-Disc, it was at a weaker stage (notice how its disc gradually slowed down over the Series), so I think even with a bit of damage, it could've flipped it to win. Steg-O-Saw-Us? Straight in, straight out. And Chaos 2, now that would've an epic Grand Final. My prediction would've been Chaos 2 eventually side-stranding it on the Arena Wall to become Champion, before knocking it back down so that they could both take on the House Robots. 3037
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: December 04, 2011, 09:41:00 AM »watThat's what you get for saying I'm whining ![]() Anyway, I propose 24 Brackets, with limited seeding. 3038
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: December 04, 2011, 09:38:49 AM »24 per bracket seems like the most reasonable solution to me, if you're gonna do four weight classes. 32 per bracket, that's 128 robots, and it's going to move extremely slowly. 24 bots per weight class, with some three-way Loser's Melees somewhere down the line, I think. That's how I'd go about it. =) Or seeding, but that might be construed as unfair. We discussed the seeding system earlier, and people didn't seem to like it very much. That's good to see- or maybe only seed the top 6 for each bracket or so. 3039

Or maybe 24 per bracket. That might be alright.
