If you are feeling gutsy you could try Curse + Trick Room.
An temporary increase in attack and speed with extra defense to boot?  Yes please.
well, there's that and there's overly long amounts of boosting

you can achieve the same effect with a drum component for less weight, IIRC.

as trick roomers I would use
-Cofagrigus (mono attacking maybe ? Trick Room, Pain Split, Nasty Plot, Shadow Ball)
-Reuniclus (awesome HP and special attack, Also magic guard + recover = very very bulky)
-Slowbro (Regenerator + Slack Off, Scald, Trick Room, maybe Ice Beam or Toxic)

and the rest use something more manly such as rhyperior, marowak, escavalier, rampardos... mega mawile for a certain definition of manly... you have enough special sweepers.

If you are feeling gutsy you could try Curse + Trick Room.

General Support / Re: AI for the Linear Actuators or Servo Pistons?

i'm pretty sure actuators/servo pistons don't even lift bots, but yeah it should work.

also it's Other.py in stock

Have I ever told you the Queen stopped me from leaving my street once?
No, but I do remember the time your parents tricked you into eating mouldy bread.

****, I still throw up thinking about it.

****ING INCOMPETENT BASTARDS

sh** what was the rest?
You found a piece of bread on the kitchen table, ate it and then realized that the bottom side of the bread was moldy.

yeah that chassis can be done so it is more flat

unsure if you really need the skirts though, maybe just make a bigger chassis (yes this is a thing)

Toshiba is very tough and survivable. However, you'll pay for what you get.

I think I would be able to AI it but I'm not quite sure about BFE'ing the smartzones. Maybe I can aam them or something.

I never thought of something like that, that's just too cool!

I have 0 experience on AIing so I don't know but it sure would be interesting to see AI bots controlling this thing perfectly. It would be a vicious AI.
When MassimoV released his tournament pack with the competitors from Battlebots 6-8, it had bots that used the "OmniMultiZone" (I believe that's what it's called.) and that AI uses multiple smartzones when ever One bot I do recognize from that that uses it is Super Komodo, It had 3 different named smartzones named "weapon", "Fire1" and "Fire2." I think that might work, but then again, it most likely won't, so don't quote me on that. If you really want someone to try to AI it, send it over.

Edit: Damn you Naryar! you ninja!

40 minutes isn't a ninja post.

A... Gatling hammer ? :O

that is the coolest hammer design i have ever seen.

I think if you can attach smartzones via BFE to the disc the smartzones should be able to rotate and OmniMultiZone should work.

Though I'm pretty sure you will need another smartzone because OmniMultizone supports 4, iirc.

and i'm pretty sure topknot.py does not support a spinner weapon.

Other Tutorials / Tutorial Request Thread
« on: September 21, 2014, 03:04:13 PM »
Not actually a tutorial, but a tutorial request thread.

I'm old and experienced so I don't exactly realize what is missing from the tutorials section unlike some of our newbies.

Please post any subject of RA2 that has no tutorial thread here, I or another person will probably pick up on it and make a tutorial thread.

Note : Please do research before asking for new tutorials. I want no "hey do an AI tutorial" when there are at least 5 different ones already on the site.

I must say, Hitler was the only German that I know that used his language to the perfection.

Is German not perfectly suited to ranting and angry shouting and hamming it up ? I should really learn it (more than the scraps I know) for more effectiveness.
