Robo Zone 2 Prototyping. Also because I don't think I've seen this done before. AW Popup. 124.2, Plastic, 1 pink. Extender stuff because I had weight left over. I might try to see if I can eke 1kg out of the chassis to get a second razor instead of the extenders.

Oh, so it's just two four-way rumbles, with the last bot standing? Sounds okay. I'll go for Firestorm and Typhoon 2, then. What's going to be happening between fights this time?

I'm quite looking forward to this. I've got an idea for it, I just need to see if I can make it work properly.

I'll say Supernova and Firestorm. There's still a part of me that thinks Iron Oxide should be there instead of Wave Priest, but it's just the luck of the draw, I suppose. Really can't see it going much further, though, it's got a pretty tough rumble. I did think the Special Fight was a bit pointless if there was no winner. I lol'd when Tornado drove itself into the pit. =D

Cool. It looks like something from an early Robot Wars series. Am I the only one thinking it would look better if the flags were replaced with a srimech? They look rather ungainly at the moment to me.

You can improve the wedge with some fine tuning of the Snapper angle. Tedious, but necessary to win the wedge war, I'm afraid. If you shorten the popup arm, you could eFFe a third 20cm+razor on there for some added DP.

On the other hand, must we not forget Pastor Maldonado?
Of course not. Maldonado's been involved with a lot of incidents, but they weren't the same seriousness as the one Grosjean caused. I read somewhere that he shouldn't really be racing in Formula One at all. During a Monaco race in the Formula Renault series, Maldonado ignored yellow flags, and nearly killed a marshall as a result. The owners of the Monaco circuit responded by banning Maldonado from racing there for life, which meant no F1 team could recruit him as a driver if he couldn't race at one of the iconic circuits on the calendar. However, his father offered to pay for the marshall's hospital fees and such, provided the lifetime ban was lifted.

I preferred the version with Ninja Stars. I like the idea of an invertible gutripper, it's just a shame Axle wedges are comparatively rubbish. If you turned the DSL bars the other way, with the wider end at the front, that would allow you to remove the fragile poly stabilisers.

Limpet, built by the 13 Black team. Only in Series 2, and fell in the Skittles trial (Image removed from quote.)
Did 13 Black make Limpet as well? Awesome, I liked Limpet. I would have liked to have seen it eliminate Roadblock, that would have been an interesting moment. I wonder how that would have changed the course of Robot Wars.

My ideas of what fun is usually aren't very well accepted by the school system.
what are said ideas?
Uhh...filling the school hallways with wasted paper and ink?
So not the drawing some genitals in the grass with weedkiller stuff that happened at my school?

Hey Gigs. Nice to see some older faces returning. =)
Not too much has happened. Biggest thing seems to have been the discovery of Hax Mode, I can't remember if you were around for that or not. Bunch of new members, usual proportion sticking around, tourneys, usual kind of stuff.

I went to movies to see Madagascar 3...
Mind = Blown. It wasn't better than Ice Age 4, but not even worse. It was just plain awesome, at one point I even got few tears in my eyes. 5 stars.
go watch Laurence Of Arabia, then see what you think of Madagascar 3 or The Bridge Over The River Kwai or One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest or something good goddamn it
add to that The Seven Samurai or Sanjuro or Beowulf
god damn it kids these days need stronger role models
What about the greatness that is Napoleon Dynamite :x
Oh man...this last school year, me and my classmates made it out goal to COVER as much of the school in "Vote for Pedro" signs as possible. We were printing them off 20-30 at a time during our last class, and running through the halls throwing them all over the place while everyone was leaving, taping them to lockers, doors, etc. That was some funny sh**.
Then they checked the cameras.
Badoom tish. My sixth year had a wierd fascination with voting for Pedro in the fake newsletter they sent out. They also reported a number of virginities handed into the Lost and Found at the school office. We also had a game of hide and seek around the entire school. Was much fun.

Something I would like to advise you on, perhaps you could keep the descriptions of each component a bit shorter than you have them at the moment. There's a fair few components that have - in my view - needlessly long explanations, maybe with a joke or two in them. The net result is that the stats of each component, HP, Fracture, Grip, DP and so forth get cut off at the bottom of the description box, so you can't really compare them properly to other components in the Bot Lab. This might allow for a wider variety of components to be used in NAR AI if players can better understand the relationships between components. =)

It looks extremely cool and quite fearsome. +respect.
Also, has anyone else noticed that the Perm 80 Long in NAR AI 2.7 is lighter than the Perm 80 Medium?
odin damn it i thought i fixed this
hahaha odin It might just be my version, though. I don't know if I have the latest 2.7 or not.

Is it even DSL realistic? I know razors can interset in DSL, but this takes it to such an extent that surely it's unrealistic?
I did this in Stock, then Pwnator did it in DSL. I think as long as they don't fully intersect, then it should be fine, a bit like the original Crab Salad. Looks alright, but definitely too slow. I'd try making the chassis a bit larger so you can get the motors far back enough to accomodate Technos. Dropping to polys would definitely be a good idea, it's not as if the extenders are going to get hit anyway.

Naryar's Melee Entry. 248.7, 3 ants, and whatever the armour was. Does pretty well for itself, sometimes it gets a little bit unstable when it's inverted, but not enough to cause too many problems. Also, has anyone else noticed that the Perm 80 Long in NAR AI 2.7 is lighter than the Perm 80 Medium?

Why do us RW fans have morons and ****tards representing us on youtube?
There's your answer.
I haven't seen you in a few days. Am I just blind or did you go somewhere?
College started getting in the way. That and my girlfriend's a bit more clingy recently for no apparent reason.
