I am absolutely sure ACAMS complained about losing a tourney on AU because Carp104 edited his bot file.

YOU ARE 100% WRONG!!!! bot file editing and AAM are two completly different ways to cheat!

I knew how to AAM in 2003.....it is NOT new, but still somewhat secret.
AAM is a must in building some bots with custom components, but should not be used in normal building. With all the glitches there really is no need for it in normal building. I am against making it public, but heck.....even lra2 knows how to do it now, so it must not be very secret.

It is a very good game, just not as good as RA2. I was very addicted to it before RA2 came out.

Get Starcore 1.0 in the download section, and overwrite your Stock RA2 AI folder with the AI folder in the RAR.

NEVER.....NEVER, EVER tell somebody to overwrite their stock game!!!!!!
ALWAYS tell them to copy/paste their stock game and overwrite the copy and send the launcher to the desktop (and rename the icon) to launch the game

I sure wish I had the batch file......even tho I have stock and DSL about done, there are lots more custom components to do. Notepad++ allows me to add text to the end of the text line, but does anybody know a program I can use to add text to the beginning of the lines. I need to add " to the front of the component name.

Please continue this in the proper thread so we don't mess up his showcase.

Yes, the chassis is from the contest chassis.

A Sit-N-Spin that breaks away from the Vine Whip design.

My favorite car in the world is an early 70s Ford Mustang Mach 1, with a red and black paintjob.

You need to narrow that down somewhat.....

1969 and 1970 are nice (for a damned old ford) 1971 and up are big and heavy with 71 being the only one with a decent motor to push it.

My favorite ford is the 1969 BOSS 429 Mustang

I have a quote saying you dislike Multibots.

I has been kawt!

I don't like Multibots in tournaments because it is hard to keep your own (or your team mates bot) from destroying each other......besides...Multibots are not a type of bot.

Well this debate (as you call it) can stop right here as it is up to the tournament host as to what kind of bots are allowed, as long as it is stated in the rules at the announcement of signup rules.
I personally don't mind ANY type bot!

I sure hope nobody enters one in RAW!
Of course a MW crawler would be hard to build and not be very effective!

You will NEVER be able to export your robot.......you can ONLY export components one at a time and you are NOT reading like I told you or you would KNOW that you can't use 2010 to export your components.

You can, but I am not on very often. The best thing to do is read all the tutorials and topics about exporting to the game. If you have Max 4.2 or 5.1 you can read all about it in the tutorials section at https://gametechmods.com
The WIKI has a section abot it too, but my internet is so slow here at work I will never find it, so you will have to look your self.

Dummy's reference bot is just too see the size reference of the part you are making and it does not export when useing the official exporter, BUT is is in the data base under "Tools" https://gametechmods.com/?do=RA2_Downloads
You MUST make and export the parts one at a time. if you have a part that looks like two peices, they must be connected, or put on the bot one at a time as ONLY one part can be exported at a time. Wheels are VERY hard to make and you must make the chassis ingame and maybe add a shell to it that looks like the chassis. AAM is usually needed to make a good replica bot so that the collision will be intact.

Chatterbox / What should I get first?
« on: September 19, 2009, 09:17:40 AM »
That is a no brainer.....The machete is a very usefull tool around the house and a MUST for the campsite. I have had my machete for 25 - 30 years, but it is getting old and the handle has a corner missing, so I am thinking of getting a new one. It is military surplus from the late 70's and still in good shape except for the handle, and I have been thinking of making a new handle from aluminum stock.
THIS one looks cool, but I don't know if it would hold up to the abuse I put one through.

NO BFE, OR AMM, OR CHEATING OF ANY KIND UNLESS THE TOURNAMENT RULES STATE THAT IT IS OK!!!!! (and that does sometimes happen)
Normal glitches that work in the bot lab are always OK, except in a realistic tournament.

4 possible non HS entries...what to enter...?

That chassis is just screaming to be a HS, but since I am building a HS then maybe you should do something different so you will have a chance!
