it definitely won't make a difference, no stability issues with the button at all. when i put it against starcore bws (AI vs AI) it beat all the bots i put it against, from spinners to pop-ups to rammers.
i had an idea to make an AW, BW and LW only AI pack :)

Philetbabe's turret bot didn't seem to be moving in the first match against obZen.

inside pics? and in my experience with VS's a wedge is better then a plow if you can only have one of them.

the button isn't that unstable, if you check the vids on my site it's about as stable as VS's come and the wedge on the button is the best wedge i have oh and it has beaten Dozer in a test run of the tilt challenge lol.
ion-cutter is also a very stable VS, i tested it by driving full speed into the test garage wall.
ant-tenna, i could use 2 irons or 3 razors. this little AW has got 600+ hits :/
maniac 2 is actually a lw HS/FS hybrid.
shocker, i should be able to do that but i dunno if it will be any better.
hypnospin 2 is actually a giant FS with double stacked razors, just something different really.

i found possibly the biggest glitch in BBEANS history. in BBEANS 3, round 1: antichrist V.1 vs Ding Dong armadillo around 1:30 :) poor click had to record all of that and i know for a fact his HW entry for BBEANS 5 is just as bad... maybe worse.

so much for all the vets people were talking about hey... i get the feeling trying to get this to 64 was a waste of time. next time people wanna complain about lack of vets, maybe you should check if they would join before you go and throw their names out like that.

love it, robots with unique and new abilities could open up lots more gameplay.

a multibot would mean 2 antweights so they would have a tough time in 2 on 1 against 2 beetleweights. all the horizontal spinners that are entered are different at least.

so far we have a mostly horizontal spinners, hopefully we get some more variety :)
only 6 spots left! also waiting for somebody to send AI code.

does the extender on top of the lightweight help at all? you could use a lesser weapon motor and get rid of the extender to try and add even more weapons?

still only 3 entries are in, if you can send your entry soon it will allow me to start the tournament start faster because i will have less robots to make a splash for and AI.

i managed to get one of the attempts stable enough to get around without many stability problems, others bounce around a little... kinda like off road driving :)
but yeah this is just me trying something new, I'm n.ot even sure if it will work.

S32: u try and build anything like that and make it n.ot cartwheel... it's the downside of pretty much every vertical spinner. also its n.ot just a basic vertical spinner. the whole point of showcasing is to get positive feedback or constructive criticism your last comment was neither, i said "working on something new". with razor wind, the wedge has to stay, you are wrong if you think otherwise! yes I'm already trying to extend the weapons out more. EDIT: .JPG) been trying out a number of versions for this flail vertical spinner, the offense is good i just need some protection for the front extenders.
