What kind of weapons are you using? Retooled really strongly favors heavier weapons.
(ps plz make something Standard and enter Math Adventures)
Small Pole spikes if you need to know. They aren't that damaging but I didn't know about weapon effectiveness.
Also, I don't have enough time to make an entry into Math Adventure due to me only starting to play Retooled only today. Even if I do make one, it probably be terribly rush. But you may never know or I'll just watch, even if I have to.
TBH you could probably do fairly well even with a rush bot at this point. Anyway, pole spikes are not the weapons to go with on popups. They do damage with the tip only, so they're not going to be able to get very good hits. I think there are some cleaver kinda weapons meant for this sort of design, but I have no idea if they're any good. Alternatively, you could modify it to use a piston instead of a burst motor, so the weapon fires straight forward. That should allow the pole spikes to get a better angle.

Just to clarify a few things:
You currently do not have enough votes to run the tournament as it is. You only have 3 "I will enter, and I want component intersections." votes, and you need 4. If you disallow component intersections, you do have enough votes to run the tournament, since you have 7 "I will enter, but I don't want component intersections." votes. The total number of "No" votes is irrelevant to whether or not the tournament can run; no votes are just to help judge whether the tournament needs tweaking or anything. (I put the numbers in so that, when they change later, this post still makes sense.)
However, if you're going to wait for a month or two before running (which is fine), I'd ask you to re-run the poll when you actually want to start the tournament, since members coming/leaving can sway what kind of votes you get. (That's assuming I haven't been fired by then.)

The poll is all sorts of wrong. You give no option to those that want to enter with intersecting components and 'Yes to Both' is a bit stupid when both options are 'I will enter' and 'I won't enter'.
The poll is, "Will you enter this, and do you want RA2CF component intersections?". "Yes to Both" means, "I will enter and I want RA2CF intersection."
