Is your wedginess altered by the wheels being so high the model doesn't rotate?[/img]
That is one of the factors, although it's more on the burst motor used and the amount of pressure placed on the wedge.

As for the bot, the top iron is not needed since it doesn't have enough drive to completely go under a bot. Ditch it and go for a shallower chassis wedge. Better yet, upgrade the drive to at least redbirds.

That's a pretty clean bot though, keep it up.

I don't think a Nifty's enough for this. Try a supervolt so you wouldn't be required to stack. The outer razors don't need those extenders. Irons are suitable replacements but the inner razors are probably fine as is.

Cool stuff. Keep it up.

The straight sheets are needed because the angled panels are already flush against each other. Not exactly sure where else you could use the weight though. Better drive?

Pretty sure you could fix the bot with the two suggestions 09 made. Fix the plow extenders first so you immediately have an extra 4kg to work with for your drive.

ayyy those claws reminded me of attack the block

not sure if it's worth to have plows on the rear when op extenders would probably do just fine

wtf it's as powerful as half of the lws out there

I guess the 1mm plastic is doing favors for the weapon. Kinda worried about how it's gonna lift up MWs though. Wider stabilizers would probably help but you're strapped for weight as is.

Not sure having a large beater is the fastest way to beat a spinner.

Personally I'd go with a smaller diameter drum with more damaging weapons. And you should probably work on the wedges in case of a tie or something.

I'm not actually sure if this is an offense, but it IS a constructive post with descriptions on the bots (and some amount of precaution taken to censoring and stuff), so personally I don't mind. Probably can't say the same for the other mods, but I guess they'll fix it if it's really a problem.

Yeah, the second one is much better. Haven't seen that weapon setup in quite a while.

I'm surprised that it's bouncy. Generally bursted redbirds are slow enough to prevent bouncing, although I'm not sure if the setup has anything to do it.

still looks pretty cool tho

you could have easily waited until you get home then show a proper screenshot rather than a blurred picture that just confuses viewers even further

Cut it out. The fact that you are presenting your bots to the public means that anything you showcase will be subject to scrutiny. The most constructive comment you'll get is advice on how your bots can be improved.

I decided against removing Avalanche's post because while it does sound somewhat harsh, it is still mostly valid advice. But you chose to look past that and criticized his tone instead.

Keep it friendly or I will hand out some warnings next time.

Gauntlet probably needs 4WD to do the things it's supposed to do.

And I regret not remembering to upload my Metagross to the bot exchange before my laptop bricked itself FeelsBadMan

How about ditching the ballast and switching to shinies? Would the wheels ruin the aesthetic?

Also, I'm not quite sure about the full setup, but you could probably shift the outer blacks to the middle if you rotate them 90 degrees. Would slightly help with weight distro, but I guess that would mean finding a way to attach the pole spikes through the snappers instead.

I remember having a clone like that but with the drive on the actuators as well. I also remember there's something wrong with it, but I forgot what. kek

Tornado looks pretty badass, though.

[Edit] : Oh right, mine can't drive straight :V

WutFace

but yeah the popup looks much cleaner than the wammer thingy

Snake Bite's chassis still has some potential though. You could clean it up for a centered chassis and piston. I don't think you lose much from not forcing exostacks.

Is it stable? That's a pretty cool setup for a single-tooth VS.
