Okay, I actually made a drum-flipper bot. When it has faster wheels, it tips and is impossible to turn. Drum and flipper? Unefficient hybrid. With the flipper flipping the bot, the drum will spin uselessly 3/4 of the time even if you get under the other bot. I mean, in AI! The AI will fire the flipper every time it can and the drum won't do much damage . It would be a good hybrid if the flipper was used just once to get the other bot on the drum. But this is something an AI can't do.

Especially with a messed up weapon, a vulnerable chassis where I could put an elephant and 15 ant batts... if you didn't updated Skurge.

Ripblade is annoying because he havoks if you destroy his blade or wheels, and it's hard to flip him onto his side. If you have an invertible bot like a thwack or a rammer then Ripblade is candy. But he was annoying for sure. Jackpot was good too. That said, most of the pokers were decent, and the hammers too. i think i'm gonna use a stock AI bot and try to beat them all. and not emergency.

Tougher HWs: Emergency, Ronin and Raptor (i was fearing the hammer bots seriously in my newbie days) Tougher MWs: Bushido and The Boxer Tougher LWs: Berserker, Stinger and Lil'Dog.

Stick a Hypno wheel on a horizontal (left or right) NPC and see by yourself.

Naryar, watch it, and remember THIS quote: "We don't have to build the ultimate robot. We just go in to have fun."
O RLY? Note to self: Next Competition, Build somthing that is good... (i watched it something like 4 months ago btw) ____________ Oh sorry Urjak, I thought it had big ground clearance... Well yeah it's a very low ground clearance, but still two times HazCon's one. The Techno Destructo wheels on vertical NPC's are VERY fast and have a great clearance, btw. I think even inferior than HazCon. But 4WD normal NPC drive with Techno Destructo wheels is going to be really fast on a HW... see by yourself.

Good. Vlad wheels are grippiest, I think.
Oh, and "horrible ground clearance" may be a little exxagerated, but for a wedged bot...
...Wait, no, not horrible, but a little big. I didnt noticed the NPC's being vertical.
It must still have something like 3 times the ground clearance of Hazardous Contraption.

Yes, I seen that too, and that's why I said that was a MW.
No need to use big letters or you'll turn into Venko..

Yes! Have a look at the rules.
You can't change/move: -the chassis -everything that is directly attached to the baseplate(excepted that you can rotate the skirt hinges, but not move them), the battery/airtank setup
You can change: -everything that is attached to a baseplate component (wheels, weapon heads, skirts, etc) -the chassis type of armor.

I mean, it is parts that are overpowered for their weight, or cheat parts, or custom. Like most cheatbot2 parts.

Especially if they are unbalanced... mixing DSL and Stock isn't a good idea...
I saw a 259 disc in one of your Youtube videos... is it balanced?
You should perhaps stick to DSL for your replicas, DSL is more suited to make replicas anyway.

I can't really see well...
No, wait, this is a Perm 64-powered drum... Are you really sure a drum will fair well in a tabletop? Because this perm is visibly attached to the chassis and IDK what you're gonna do with a vertical perm in a tabletop.
By the way, you seriously need to have less ground clearance and grippier wheels.

Ah!Ah! This is something like a 7-month bot. 3mm steel. As you guys can see i was pretty new to DSL, and still managed to make a pretty nice LW wedge shaped sawbot, kinda BOT-204 in stock but better (it owned Razer every time and a good bunch of HW's), with a Minion disc too. I loved Minion discs back in teh day. If I remember well, I had another version with less empty space... ___________ Urjak this bot is underpowered, and this ground clearance is horrible - see Mud Runner-. The wedges do look decent, but thery'll be better with less ground clearance. You should need 110kg of batts to keep that working at full power - three big black 30kg Odysseys and one small 20kg black batt. But I still like the HW sawbot design.

Isn't anyone bored to answer 15 times the same question? (classic example: "DSL doesn't works after copying" or "how can I get the flamethrower") I've decided to make a big "RA2 for dumm... newbies" FAQ which answers to plenty of these generic questions asked by newbies. And ideally it would be on a sticky in the Robot Showcase, General Discussion and Technical Support forums. But if you guys could put several different Q/As too... I have: -How to get DSL to work? -I can't save my bots! -Emergency is so hard !1!1! I cant beat it ! -How to get the real bots ? I want Chaos 2! -How to get the AI bots ? -How to get the motors horizontal so i can make a spinbot ? -Why the my bot sucks ? (jk) -The game doesn't works? (i have a nVidia) -What is DSA/a HS/a VS/a FS ? -Where can i get Starcore/DSL/custom components? And more...

He's going to have a maximum spinup time of about 15 seconds. But at 5 seconds spinning, he'll still be very damaging.
Chained 6 Mag gearboxes spin slowly, right, but a blow of it to one of your MW's is going to send it flying. OOTA or at the other side of the arena. But T O R Q U E's spinner isn't going to be stopped by one blow, just slowed down, and the time the other multibot attacks, he'll still take a nasty blow.
If you win this match, you'll be very lucky.
BTW Giga, how does it perform against two middleweights?

Changing my mind... MW's are costly.
BW VS, with a darn good wedge like InfCon, a big disc and good motors, but few armor.

At least, I know that writing your own binding needs that you must learn Python, or understand it from scratch, from all the bindings .py files... and this is hard work.
________
All Starcore VS's are in Omni. Some of the DSL ones are on DirectionalSpinner.
Also I LOL'ed when i saw the "LittleMetalFriend".py.

Ah! Ah! Now this is the thread to ask a bunch of questions. Newbie time!
-Why every hammer bot uses Poker rather than Chopper (initial hammer binding?) -What does DirectionalSpinner does exactly? -Why no bot (or at the best few bots) uses OmniRam? And what's the exact difference between Omni and OmniRam? -Is the specialized binding (Spinner, Poker, Flipper) is better than the omni binding for a precise robot type? -Why so many rammers use Pusher? And i've noticed that the "pusher" sometimes rams (back and forth), not continuously pushes after the first blow...
