I think it looks pretty good, and shouldn't the new version of the bot I sent in be used for the splash? [in this page of the showcase https://gametechmods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1025&page=4, should be around the middle of the page] And almost all of the bots in here look really good to me.

I like Hawk, but you don't really need to make a custom skin. All of mine are done with the diamond plate armor, blue tinting, saw edges, rivets, and the team decal I made in MS Paint... [you can see what I am talking about here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1mZofHkYTo]

I made an update to my bot:

Basically I've made the chassis smaller to reduce the empty space (except for the section the weapon passes through) and strengthened the armor (3mm titanium) Mine has the same amount of armor, and it is pretty stable. Those bars go out far enough to keep it from tipping over, but the turn speed many need to be reduced.

Yay, I probably won't OOTA that much then. The bot I'm going to enter has a habit of doing that. Same here, mine has thrown itself out of the arena after hitting another bot before.

Okay, there are two Dual Perms now, but mine might have the edge because my hammers are more durable, and your weapon will be easier for mine to rip some chunks of the shell off. But mine is also more vulnerable.

I agree with Sage, DSL users have been able to make bots that could be made in real life, and a lot of them work very well.

I sent in a revised version of mine [Sage allowed it]. So here is the picture...   The HPBL stands for High Power Barless, going by the other version I have SP stands for Standard Power, and HP stands for High Power
