What distribution are you running? "Linux" is not an OS in itself. It's a kernel, and its latest version is 2.6.3something, with a 3.0 release candidate.

I used to just add an 's' behind 'http' in the address of every single page.
Why does that work? The genious who found out about should get some  with me. Surprisingly, that only never worked when I tried to get on facebook:3
Al the communication is encrypted via SSL/TLS, so any monitoring software will only see the target IP address (not the domain, as it's part of the encrypted HTTP HEAD/GET/POST request), which may be used to host many sites, and would require filtering software to keep w list of IP addresses used by various website's servers, which are prone to change.

Back when my school had a blocking program installed, I pissed off all the students by telling the tech person the name of 1005 different proxy sites, and showing him how to block any search engine queries involving the word 'proxy' as well. They paid me 240 dollars for it.

I find that pretty harsh actually... You gotta start somewere, And I give him credit for atleast trying instead of just standing there & Crying for another RA game like meh :P Except he's just wasting his time, and he makes all the idiots here hyped about ZOMG SOMEONE IS MAKING RA3 GUISE. BotApp looked more dynamic coz of the breaking pieces of chassis & Such. You could achieve the same effect with RA2 if you made components which looked like those from BotApp. If someone wants to make another Robot Combat game we shouldent just diss him for it, I hope this guy acutally gets somewere (And doesnt loose the source code :P) Sure, provided real progress is made instead of 5 minutes of messing around in Blender. I myself have a friend that knows some programming & Can make games, Im trying to get him to get interested in robot combat, But he asks for money to make a game like BotApp-ish (Ofcourse, Better) The problem is 'a friend who can make games' is not enough. This would be a complex project, unless you want to end up with another RA2 (ergo unrealistic physics).

The problem with BotApp is that it's not really that impressive. When you think about it, the gameplay was almost the same as in RA2 - all rigid bodies, no deformation... boring!
@Skiitzzox220: Yes, it is stupid, as five minutes of work in Blender does not a game make nor does it contribute anything towards possible development. It's like sayin cutting out a cardboard silhouette of a car seat contributes toward the design of a car.

Might be a slightly biased depiction, considering it came from one of the belligerents (I had no personal involvement- was not there), so I posted the link instead- let's let the GTMers be the judge of that.
tl;dr, at least from my point of view. Ergo it's more biased than Glenn Beck.
