Resurrecting the thread... This is my ELBITE tabletop bot, looking at Ugly Big Cheese biting furiously the wall after a particularly poor self-righting attempt.

Well... Made to be a SnS/HS hybrid, and more importantly first bot file edit. 3mm plastic - first it was 1mm titanium and the chassis was even taller than the blade's position, making it an UGLY (and unrealistic) bot. Now it's decently good looking with the bot file edit. Moved the Astroflights down because at 1 notch up from the baseplate the bot didn't turned decently (but fast as ). Problem, now when i want to turn it divides by zero, both of the Astroflights axle load and result: bot bumps everywhere uncontrollably. I've had this often with my subweight bots. It could be the Nasty Pickle glitch (wheel bigger than chassis) but they NEVER teleport OOTA...

Very well built.
Although i'm not sure if that burst motor with spikes is really worth the weight, and i'd change the hammer's positioning. They could hinder the wedge especilly with wide-wedged bots like InfCon.
Still a great bot, if these fights are AIed.

You need WinRAR to unpack .rar files. Nearly everything we share here/ you can download here is in .rar format.
For your RA2 downloads you generally need to extract the RAR file using winRAR, then you copy/paste all the components in your RA2 folder.
______
Also I ABSOLUTELY AGREE with Mad when he speaks about "searching". There is much information in the Technical Support board, as in all RA2 related ones.

Welcome ! For bot building tips be sure to check that : http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm. Also you could try DSL, the biggest and best mod for RA2. It's actually more realistic and you have much more diversity than in Stock (the original RA2). There is a link in my sig for that (credit to Sage)

It's on the BBEANS4 AI pack, i think. Haymaker used it.

Without mentioning the worthlessness of these wheels...

HnM 3.2 has been sent... even more invertible (although a really crappy bot if inverted), more realistic, and more armor!

Something like 1/8th of the wheel's diameter. New bot... eer, if you can call this a bot Don't know what is this. I just wanted to use tank treads (second time i use them and first on a MW) and make a defensive poker, but the tank treads were annoying me for putting a skirt hinge (wedge), plus i wanted to put the hammers slightly between the tank theads but the collision mesh wouldn't let me do the thing. It seems than locked magmotors can't be axle loaded, so i removed the tank threads, put the hammers and the hinge, and then i simultaneously snapper loaded the skirt hinge and "piston loaded" the Storm piston (added a copal on the hammers and making it spin). The hinge and piston flew in space (with the piston not coming back), so i put the treads then i went to the test area. Black screen (i bet it's piston loading). When coming back, i got THAT!

The BBEANS Enfilad3 is 3 times better than that.

Steel Meatball had good match ups. The first gut-ripper he fought had AI issues and it won with Havok's help on the second, but i bet InfCon or Lu-Tze would have got it.
Mako 4 would had an easy victory in the rumble. First it attacked the easiest bot for him to destroy, owned it, then it destroyed obZen from the back (again an easy kill because i nearly killed it) and attacked the helpless InfCon (not much of a challenge with me unable to drive straight)
And i had an anti-immobilization device. NOT Mako ! It's easier to destroy/immobilize than InfCon on it's back.
At least i agree on one thing with you Click, the grudge match WAS good.

You could just use 2 rows of spikes rather than 4 half rows of spikes, maybe that would save weight.
Also you could alternate pointy tips and 20cm pole spikes, same weight, same length but more protection from the pointy tips.

Nice to see you back.
Did you lost some RA2 stuff ?

I'd like to know about the batteries... Are you going to make them as efficient as each other, like the weapons, or somewhat unbalanced depending of size?
Also why did you removed the Supernova disc... it was pretty nice and useful for HW sawbots !
Also yes, Typhoon is better, but if I remember well, it had tool steel screws rather than teeth... at least against Megabyte.
