Don't know if this has been mentioned, but my game has started crashing after I go into the test arena, or whatever it's called. I can drive around and fire the weapon as normal, but when I go back into any of the other tabs (latest time was to adjust wiring) the game crashes.
Could be because I've made another team or something? The first team never had that problem, but since I've created another one, it's started happening.
I lost my BOTM entry to it last time around (I thought it might have been the configuration of components I was using overloading the game) but I've gone back to the game and it's doing the same with a fairly simple flipper.
Very confusing.

Fair points all round.
I'm coming fairly close to ditching this display tournament idea anyway. Time is running out for me to learn to AI, record, upload, and basically do EVERYTHING before I go to university and the chances of me having time to do it decrease even further.
I think I need to rethink what I'm going to do about this showcase. Maybe spend more time on building efficient bots rather than pooping out wave after wave of generic Robot Wars entries.

that spinner... axes are generally bad on spinners, the pole spikes serve no purpose and the motor is very fragile.
Done deliberately for balance purposes. An effective spinner (which is also invertible) would probably dominate the display tournament.

That Whyachi Spinner with the axles reminds me of the early Brother of Whyachi.

what a fail on nicsans part. he lost against mazakalamari (with an easily gutrippable bot to boot) with a drum?
He just rode up my wedge though, I'm guessing it's hard to gutrip with an invertable box design such as that. I was worried that his drum was just going to mash up the top of the robot though.
Anyway, despite my pretty dreadful combat record, I like to think The Red Dragon is actually a half decent fighter. Did well in testing anyway.
