Simple. Who's your waifu or husbando?
I have no idea what any of this is about.
If you remember the first Waifu Deathmatch, you probably remember the most important rule of them all, that is you must skin your robot with an image of your Waifu or Husbando (if you don't know what these words mean, just look them up, other skin your bot with your choice of insect, that works too). Remember, NO 3D WOMEN OR MEN ALLOWED. :P Loving the tank wedge vs combo even if tank wedges will be very common for this.

Ummm... can we just get a set of 2 byebots made so that this tournament can start?
We also are missing a name buddy :P better get some ideas now.
Wasn't our team name "The Unknown Quantity" or something like that? I am certain I suggested a name in the personal messages.
Yeah, we did, but it isn't updated here.

Tank Flamethrower? Something I originally had in mind for stock, didn't fully work out but I later got another bot done that does a similar job. Looks like doing wedges the usual way in this mod will be very punishing as they will easily get ripped off, as well as requiring armor to be on separate anchors or really have strong extenders?
Guess a Retooled beta got released or you guys are testers for it, haven't really kept up a lot with it.

What kind of waifu/husbando is that? If it makes it any better, I'll most likely not enter a popup but some kind of spinner instead. The more waifu bots I see, the more worried I get about my entry. I might need to give mine a hat.
Bhut Jolokia looks very nice.
Keep entering it anyways.

Tashic accepted. Guldenflame accepted.
2 more spots to fill. I'm wondering if I should fill the last spot via a mini-rumble if there're more entries, so get sending, and we'll see what ensues
I was originally thinking about entering but probably wouldn't get anything decent together. Think I should take a bit of a break from tournaments. Good Luck.

I was thinking about it, but once I started up IF I realized that I haven't really gotten into IF yet. Maybe next time.

-Plastic 10 -Reskinned heater skirts -Flipper because Felix has no attacks, so I figured I should make a bot that does not damage
Best Wai- Husbando. And thanks to this bot's design my design won't work at all, good job with that and the no attacks idea How good is turning?

That episode was much more confusing than it needed to be. I spent too much of that one screaming at my television.
Chompalot dying and Pulsar being drafted in was the only thing they did right. I have no idea why matches were allowed to go to completion when robots involved were clearly immobilised and had to retroactively be fixed. Apparently the judges were so busy talking about prosthetic limbs they weren't looking at those matches and forgot to call them. Those confusing messes marred what was a very good heat final, made better by the fact we hadn't already seen it.
Dare I say it, we need Refbot back.
Also legend has it the Jewish holiday Hanukkah is actually based on the 8 days Chompalot burned for.
This, it was odd to see them have no replacement bots, and I think they also found Pulsar more interesting because of the "unique" weapon and Thermidor 2 being a flipper, but think that's ok, since Thermidor did go out early. Bots suddenly starting again was a mess, wouldn't want to call Ironside vs Pulsar, because they did have a srimech but just got bothered by all kinds of other stuff, so it was hard to tell if it worked, Killalot then lifted them up and it was total chaos after that...
Yeah, I wasn't particularly happy with how Ironside was revived by Sir K, and were seemingly allowed to continue right through when Pulsar started having problems, up until the double pit incident.. good it was made right, though. Would have saved me the frustration if they called it early, though.
Pearce still clueless as to what's actually happening in the arena, though. Didn't spot Gabriel's pickaxe getting stuck in the fire pit or Beast losing mobility half the time Not as spectacular as episode 4, but it did the job.
Can agree to it as well, especially the JP part. I still don't get the countout system. That 10 second timer, is that a robot immobile countdown, or the end of the match? Because it's frustrating not knowing. On a few matches, robots have had their wheel stuck, spinning on one side, essentially making it look like they're "time wasting" when they're not, they're just stuck... SO COUNT THEM OUT, just in case they ARE time wasting, which they aren't. Hate this countout thing... if there IS one
End of the match, but it's a total chaos. I think this was the first episode where it was noticeable that the fights are definitely not 3 minutes(apparently they'll make a DVD with extra rumbles and full fights later on?). Because they can't manage stuff(and have one person like the judge in battlebots who tells you that your bot is getting counted out) we will need Refbot again... I seriously wish that they would just drop this whole "drama show" aspect and return to the earlier series of Robot Wars, competitors weren't that great back then but the show was(while in the later, it was the competitors that were great but the show started being more and more garbage, nothing can top series 7 however), in the reboot, the competitors are what makes the show, while the show itself is only ok with annoyances that think they need to do the storm2 drama yet again. Getting the names pronounced right outside of JP would also be nice. As for the wildcard, I can only see Thor and don't expect Pulsar to go far, they're a nice team but their robot is unreliable.
Behemoth sadly didn't do much. Thor had a rather well run but got unlucky DTK, Storm2 and Gabriel all had trouble with some fights. The bots I really like most likley won't win because of reliability issues, giving Carbide as well as TR2(didn't they win like the heavyweight title recently? Yet the show talks about them as if they're just a first time built bot) I'm fine with Gabriel as long as we don't see the same design for thwackbots spammed like in Series 3. Lol@Badger's post, would like to see you drive that thing. And now we need visual damage in order for a show to be entertaining and a weapon effective? I wouldn't exactly say that all of the early series were "who can destroy the other bot first", maybe 5 and 6, but definitely not the very early ones. Also, thanks @wakkydude for uploading those. I watch them live and later download the episode but this is great.

no this bot is actually named <content removed> as a joke, get it. hahahahaha that was a good one 090901
How well do the non locked motors work? Don't they cause some glitches?
they work fine.
It's actually <content s removed>, joke ruined. [/s] The other bot names are removed, including the quotes of other users(don't think those update themselves, so a mod probably had seen enough of it) Looking forward to see them in scrapheap challenge, need to build something for it as well.

Loving it, I recently built a plan X in Stock(trying to get as close to the original as possible, think it turned out rather well) I'd say the first one looks more Plan X like(you're not a fan of those mini ant wheels? Then again they did look rather small outside) because the second is flatter, but I think it's better being it's own robot.
Eyes remind me of Panic Attack and the skin is good as well. Try to use anti aliasing for the decals next time and remove the grey/add the texture used for extenders, sheets and all that to give it a metallic look, will look even better then. I would've loved to see your own blade instead of the Fluffy Blade and wonder if there's a reason other than weight and size to use a perm 80. I'd remove the ramming spikes at the back(think Plan X had a lifter/flipper there) and instead get the better perm motor/add protection to the perm end/use the same extenders(instead of a mix of square and round) for the entire bot.
Still loving the bot and will try to build something similar to this.

But it needs to be a full bodypillow... Looks nice otherwise, only thing I'd worry about is adding supports at the back in case it somehow gets flipped. Not having much anime/waifu knowledge, but I guess a reverse google search will help. Also guess that IF has a bigger maxsphere? Seeing some entries is definitely giving me new ideas(you really don't want to see the bots I built before that, had some that started sideways)

Guys, that post was meant to be as serious as this tournament is. I do love how IF has this balance to it and the ballasts do help, yet bots can still start flying around(see the stock IF bots), climb walls(try Tunnel Rat in the test garage, I've managed to drive on the ceiling) or just occasionally glitch out. I haven't fully figured out how to properly build in IF, kinda ironic because at first I couldn't get into DSL but liked IF for being similar to glitch free stock, while now it's the opposite. Will still try to get stuff working.

Luckiest Robot: space odessey Unluckiest Robot: whichever one it was that was winning and then just drove into a pit Conraaa You Should Not Have Accepted That: the one with the disc and the flails Favourite Match: the ones RobotCrusher57 did Favourite Bot: clampbot N00biest Robot: the one that was like a steel wedge armed with a piston with nothing on the piston
Haven't seen the complete tournament but here's two to pick from: Let me translate the other ones from noob language: Noob Wars Robot!!! SHadoWKillErrr My own votes: Luckiest Robot: Shadow Killer Unluckiest Robot: Walking Tal Conraaa You Should Not Have Accepted That: Noob Wars Robot Favourite Match: WYLI vs Pingler Favourite Bot: Shadow Killer N00biest Robot: Robotcrusher57's Malc 1.5 Fixed.
What was the song in the first video? Sounds like something out of 09090901's tournaments. Wonder why Thunderbolt's hammer was so weak in that second fight, doesn't Bushido from stock AI have the same setup? Because I know that it and Iceberg can easily take off discs in 3-4 hits.

Nice, if you wanted to get it more accurate you'd most likely require skinned plows or something like that to get the front bucket shape.
