they are unbalanced.
dsl parts are usually better, that is why u see some dsl bots get 25000 pts per match instead of the 10000 for a good stock bot.

it kindof works, but the magic mobility(wheels) dosnt work, so only crawlers and symbiotic bots work.

another cool one is to put a small light bulb in a glass of water so the connector thing(metal part) is in the water.

definately, but it will be a top down type thing and the only things that world work well for phisics are horizontal spinners, rammers and pushy type bots. the z dimension fro vertical stuff would be hard to implement in a 2d environment.

for the models use some file format that anybody can easily edit, like .blend.
