Was able to predict most of the winning ones.
What song was used for Deathwatch vs Blender?

If you want incredibly boring matches that are dragged out for too long then please, use an entanglement device.

I'm of the opinion that the net was covered in the ".etc" part of the rule in S1 and quite frankly he should have been disqualified. It was a farce it was even let in the arena in the first place.

Parappa the Rapper is next big thing in intelligent country electro hip hop rap. I am eagerly anticipating his new hot mixtape. The feature he got from Barry White on Big was dope.

Two episodes in and I am concerned about a few parts of the show:

  • They seem to think we care about the judges for some reason. Rather than the stoic faces they were that acted as judge, jury and executioner in the corner, they are trying to make them the friendly  "Robotics is fun!" type who actually appeared on camera. Their segments on robots in the pub and the like wind up being toilet break moments that disrupt the flow too much. If you wanted educational and informative you watched Techno Games or Scrapheap Challenge.
  • The round robin format they use is an affront to God and man and the fights are suffering because of it. It makes each robot fight too much and if a robot gets damaged in an early fight you wind up with wet noodle fights such as
And the final is always a watered down rehash of a round robin match which isn't satisfying at all.
  • In the intervening 12 years between series, I refuse to believe that there are no better robots than Chimera and Disconstructor that could have been on the show. I know there is a need for a varied selection, but it makes it look like we've been sitting on our laurels for a decade. If you look at the list of competitors coming up, I know for a fact there are some better robots that didn't make the cut while  the likes of Chompalot and Sweeney Todd did. There's nothing wrong with a stacked roster!
  • Johnathan Pearce is past his expiry date. To me he was cringeworthy this episode. Battlebots has the right setup with a play by play and a colour commentator who can bounce off one another, where JP has to carry it all himself and it comes off as slightly stilted. The lack of music during fights which was present in the original series didn't help the matches, either.

I hope we see a second series, but it has a lot to work on.

The final match of round 1 is finally up!

This is where the robots split. The losing robots from the rumbles go to the loser's bracket, where the losing robot in each match advances so we find the worst robot of them all. While the winners go to the winners bracket. The brackets can be found in the op.

I cant see my match, it tells me the video is unavailable.

A good portion of these videos were copyright claimed and a good portion of them are unavaliable in Germany. I'll stop using the music from now on in future matches.

However, Your match has something odd:

It thinks "There'll Always Be An England" by Vera Lynn is whatever the hell is above. Which it is not. However I cannot tell them this because their system is broken.

Regardless, I'll reupload anything affected with different, less copyright infringing music. Unless no one gives a damn about Germany.

I would like the pistons to stay at their starting point initially and extend to maximum when a robot is inside the smartzone. And then return to starting point when nothing is in the smart zone.

212
How would I AI a servo piston lifter? I am trying Other.py but it is just moving the pistons to their max extension straight away and this is causing it to havok.

Can someone explain why there's so much love for Dead Metal? It looks pretty cool, but it also looks almost identical to the original version.

I think you got it right there. Much less to nitpick on.

gotta bunch of weapon-spamming sluts in my group

You can tell I didn't rig it because I wouldn't have put myself against 3 hammers if I did.

Expect another match soon.
