Another robot. The cutting tooth and crusher doesn't make it very effective, making it more of a decorative bot. Might remove the useless wedge, too.

Two generic robots. And one clone.

No, the steel skirt. IIRC it isn't a DSL 3 part. I could be wrong here though, I don't play much DSL 3.
As someone who only plays DSL 3, there ARE steel skirts. ...polycarbonate, aluminium, titanium (which the skirt is) and steel skirts...
However, I don't believe there are aluminum skirts, as I believe Click stated alu skirts would be too weak.

I've just been thinking, what components would you guys like to see added to Ra2? An idea that I've had is that its like a JX burst motor but has two prongs on it, that would be good for pincers and double weapons on either side of a robot. That would be quite cool
edit: I also think a co2 powered burst motor would be nice if programmed into the game
I believe Click tried to add in a CO2 burst motor in the DSL 3.0 beta, but couldn't due to game constraints.

While the rammer is cool, why did you intend it to be under 200kg?
It was more or less a weight challenge I imposed upon myself. Speed might also have something to do with it.

Old axebot. Designed to be used with Wham's AI. New rammer. Inspired by Redline. 3 steel. 3 ants. Supposed to be under 200 weight.

Shouldn't it be orange instead of red? or am i just colorblind?
Really? I think it just might be the lighting in his pictures. But it's an easy change anyways.

TBH, that last bot was just a piece of old tat that I wanted to share. Maybe I just like the look of it or something. Or maybe because RA2 now thinks I want to make all my bots that color before deciding that I want them all in lime instead. Sharing this just for the skin. EDIT:

I'm sure you could probably bring the disc down a bit further to hit lower opponents; it'd also be less unstable. Also, you still have a lot of weight to do something else with, and some weight could actually be taken off if you remove those extenders that are inside the chassis. One idea that I've always liked trying is adding another motor and disc for added fun. Otherwise, you have lots of weight to add cool decoration, like spikes. Everywhere. :P
Looks cool as it is, just some advice :D
Thanks Craaig. The instability of the robot more or less fits with the character the decals provide. The internal extenders actually serve as the connection points for the 45degree anglers because of the rule of seven. It's an older robot, it's weight I believe was to provide flippers an easier time flipping it. But spikes would be cool. This is another old bot. It uses BFE'd weapons. It's weight is around 542. I think most of these old robots have low weight because of Wham's beta. It's saved on a different RA2 where I deleted backround. There were also lexan 40x80 plates on either side BFE'd through each other as the supports for the piglets but it looked ugly and the tips of the spikes stuck through.

Looks good. Too bad the flipper slightly too short... =/
Yeah, the flipper length is sacrificed for decoration. I have tried to extend it, but without the hazard stripes it just looks wrong. Also, I have seen that non-combat robot LDD creations in this topic have also been popular so:

Hey there! Welcome to gtm :)
The bot looks pretty good! Don`t know about the motors. never used them in DSL3. I like the extenderwork and the use of the eyes. Since you were lurking you know what IRL and Standart is I guess
Thanks! Looks okay. Slim's are fine from my experiences.
Does the bot kinda just launch itself into the air when you fire the weapon?
For the most part, it is rather stable. When the weapon is used, the robot leans forward, but doesn't jump in the air like some others.

6th post, still no showcase. Onto art: (Image removed from quote.) Hand-drawn sketch. (Image removed from quote.) Poor attempt at digital color.
What kind of dinosaur is it?
It's a Tyrannosaurus. EDIT: Carnotaurus. Baryonyx. Featherless Deinonychus.
