I just introduced my 11 year old brother to DSL. I'm not sure about showing him GTM because I don't want another 10-12 year old causing problems like he will and I don't want Nary to eat him.

I wouldn't recommend modding it for combat. Ants now days are way too competitive for something like that to hold its own without getting completely torn up.

Mine's completely illegible, even to me. It's very scrawly.

Words cannot describe how bad it is....

so here's a picture of it

I'll take the last spot for the Rumble. Powerrave beat me to it. Ty4er beat me and Powerrave to it

Yeah it does but it's been the king of the Sportsman class for the past few years. :P

Anyways my votes will go out to

Professor Chaos, SubZero, Hotstuff, Gyrobot (the walker not that robotwars one whose shell spins slower than my cordless drill), and JuKid

I think click's method was different because he had another set of wheels that were attached to the chassis.

and my (unfinished) flipper has a larger ram, stronger drivetrain, and better armor. :P

Oh and I've lost 3 times to Upheaval...

I had this idea. I don't know if its been used like this before (and if it was used this way I'm sorry if I'm taking credit for it)

What this idea is, is a way to have a holonomic drivetrain in RA2

Cool

"wait that doesn't work"

"uhhhh...."

Nice!

Maybe you could make it a flipper using the self righter if you drop the armor to something else.

600ml or 20oz depending on where you are in the world.

I only get 12 shots because I have a low pressure system that opens and closes the full pressure system.

I never though of gas expansion when designing my flipper. :P

Unfortunately I took Sage's advice and designed my chassis around my components and there isn't any room for a buffer tank without a complete rebuild and redesign of the chassis so the buffer tank may come in a future rebuild if my current system doesn't work great.

Flipper looking great, what are you going to be using as armour?

1/16" lexan on the bottom, 1/16" Ti for outer shell and 1/8" chromoly rear plow

Wary of how much a lack of buffer tank will effect it though :/

My system only gets 12 shots without a buffer tank. If I add one more air will be needed to pressurize the system which will take away from the total shots I have which is already very low. Buffer tanks are typically only needed to make up for a "low flowing" component in a system such as after a regulator. As of now it's better not to have a buffer tank.

Connect them with a polycarbonate/lexan safe epoxy or screws. I recommend screws so you can repair/modify it easier. If you really need a hindge you can get one at a craft store or home improvement store but if you want some kind of tape you should use gaffers tape or a similar type anything less will probably be too weak or not sticky enough.
